I am pretty sure that a buddy and I got our drinks fucked with last week at the show. I sincerely apologize for my actions that evening, but I don't really think I had any control of em. We definitely didn't have a ton to drink, but have hardly any recollection of the end of the evening. My buddy called me when he was alone at 3:30am in a stairways outside of noir. no idea how he got there. i remember the first half of the evening perfectly fine and then the rest is pretty much black, including our 30 block walk home. This kinda shit has never happened to me before, including 21st B-Day, New Years, long nights at the Triple Nickel, etc.

Being somewhat new to the area, I love the friends that I have made thru going to house shows here and I would hate to have ruined that by my actions last Thursday.

Angela had a drink given to her at Noir a couple weeks ago that was spiked -- she unwittingly gave it to our friend Ryan who drank HALF of it (without having anything else to drink that night). He felt drunker then he has ever felt and DROVE himself home (not a great idea but he wasn't in his right mind) He then sat at his compter FREAKIN out with eye twitches and no vision and passed the FUCK OUT!

SO THIS REALLY ISN'T FUNNY.

Someone is going to get hurt or raped and then businesses will get sued and shut down.

WE NEED TO ACT ASAP and catch this fucker. PERIOD.

Watch your drinks. Keep your eyes open for pestering strange men that want to buy you a drink, and lets not turn this into a fucking JOKE.

I am sorry to hear about both situations. I think when stuff like this happens, it should be addressed to the people who run the night (Scottie and myself). We in turn will talk with the club owner and staff and take measures to prevent this from happening. Yes, this issue does need to be brought up with the community, and this board is definitely one of those ways to do that, but people need to be aware, not afraid.

I have heard stories like this ever since I first set foot in a club, and it has happened at every club I have ever DJed at. As much as it is about having fun and letting loose, people need to be aware of their surroundings when they go out.

The last thing I want is for this night, which Scottie and I have worked hard to establish, become known for anything else than it's good music and fun times.
