E3 BIOGRAPHY

DJ E3 (Ezra Ereckson) is a veteran of the US dub and electronics
scene. A core member of Systemwide (Portland) and sound system
Bucolic (San Francicso) for the last decade, and DJing for the last
five years, E3 has been blessed to play with many luminaries of
underground music. Some of which include: Adrian Sherwood, Scientist,
Dr. Israel, Solomonic Sound, DJ Krush and DJ Spooky. Alongside
Systemwide he has also accompanied Lee Scratch Perry and Dub
Syndicate on multiple dates of their various US tours and last year
did a solo mini-tour of the East Coast. Collecting vinyl since 1983,
E3 is an accomplished selector in many styles, but especially loves
dub, roots, dancehall, dub-house, dubstep and African and Middle
Eastern music. Residencies have included the "Deeper Roots"
Afro-house night and the "Bassism" 2-Step and Breaks night. Currently
E3 is a resident at "ATLAS," an all-international monthly gig at
Holocene in Portland. E3 is featured representing Portland in the
Adidas/XLR8R Bedroom Rockers book of US DJs and is president of
world-famous undergound dub label BSI Records.

DJ ANJALI & THE INCREDIBLE KID BIOGRAPHY

After making a name for themselves in their hometown’s lively
house party circuit, DJ Anjali & The Incredible Kid introduced the
Portland, Oregon nightclub scene to the sounds of Bhangra, Bollywood,
and Asian Garage on New Years Eve 2000. After a six month residency
at the legendary Blackbird, followed by a stint at the Kalga Cafe the
duo began hosting sold out ANDAZ dance parties at Lola's Room, before
making their home at Fez Ballroom in the Fall of 2002. For over
three
years DJ Anjali and The Incredible Kid have packed the dance floor at
the Fez the last weekend of every month, selling out on a regular
basis. The focus of these parties remains hardcore Panjabi Bhangra
with the sounds of Bollywood and the emerging genres of Asian Hiphop
and R&B also featured in the mix.
In order to satisfy their growing fan base, they founded the
popular monthly ATLAS (with co-host/DJ E3) at Holocene in November of
2003. The ATLAS parties provide a forum for the duo to feature
other sounds in their repertoire including: UK Asian Garage and
Drum’n’Bass, Middle Eastern electronica, French HipHop, Meren-Rap and
Reggaeton. Since introducing Portland club audiences to the amazing
sounds of the South Asian diaspora our duo have remained in constant
demand playing any number of one-off events nearly every weekend of
the year in addition to their regular parties. The duo barnstormed
New York in 2004 when they were flown out to headline a sold-out
party at NYC’s oldest and best Bhangra party “Basement Bhangra.”
They have also supported artists as diverse as Digable Planets, State
of Bengal, DJ Spooky, DJ Rekha, Karsh Kale, J-Boogie and Ming & FS.
