Arriving in Seattle five years ago, Brad Miller soon found himself immersed in the electronic music scene and frequentling such classic venues as the Noiselab, Chop Suey, and Showbox. Soon after, he began to take his love of electronic dance music to the next level through DJing, and began to experiment with his own unique style. This definitive sound of trance and progressive took on a new role when Brad began to host a weekly radio show on KUPS 90.1FM The Sound in early 2004. Dedicated to providing his listeners a sound they will not find anywhere, Brad Miller has pushed the envelope in radio DJing with world class guest mixes from both international and local talent, in addition to live broadcasts and unprecidented marathon mixes.

Join me this week as I say farewell to the show that gave me the start of my DJing career! For 12 hours I will be spinning the best tracks over the course of the past two years, as my way of saying goodbye! For everyone who has ever listened to the show I'd like to thank you, and remind everyone that you can download all 60 episodes at my website as well!

A special thanks goes out to all the guest DJs that we've had on the show the past couple of years! I've definitely met more people and made more friends through this show than I ever thought I would, and your contributions are what truly made it special!

That was absolutely incredible last night!

I ended up mixing for a full 12 hrs straight from 7pm until 7am nonstop! Quite frankly It was a very spiritual experience for me, since it felt like the first time I have ever truly mixed "from the soul" instead of consciously thinking about what to play. I know that probably sounds crazy, but honestly it felt like the music was in control of me and the set as a whole an extension of pure emotion. That's the reason I couldn't stop at 8hrs - the story just wan't finished yet. If this sounds crazy to you, then I'd suggest you give it a shot sometime! While it is physically demanding, you will never feel so connected to your music on an emotional level.

Physically, it was tough! My back and feet started to hurt BAD and I had to take some excedrin for a slight headache early on. Mentally though, I was going strong all night long. Hell I was jumpin around at 5 am just goin nuts! I was suprised too at the number of people who IM'd me and called me up to tell me they were going to stay up late just to listen!

Unfortunately I was only able to record 10 hrs of the set since my recorder died, but I will definitely post what I did get on my website and on this thread as well so you can give it a listen! Since I wasn't able to record my formal thank you's that I said 11 hrs in the mix, I want to thank the following people for all their support!

Bob & Tana Miller
For giving me my first turntables for Christmas and supporting me so much!

Brett Miller
Sarah Abe
For partying all the time with me from Miami to Tokyo and keeping the dream alive!

Anne Hanson
For giving me so much support and understanding my obsession with music!

Brenden LaBonte
For giving me half of my music collection lol! And for being a great friend and supporter of the show!

Randall Glenn
Jason LeMaitre
Johnny Monsoon
Can't thank you guys enough for being so supportive, both as DJs and as friends!

Guy Godfrey
For giving me a shot behind the decks at Trin, and being so supportive of me in general!

Scott Keith
For giving me tons of support in my DJing!

David Hvidsten
For reminding me everyday that CDs suck and I'm a sellout lol! Seriously though, you help keep the PLUR vibe alive in me!

Colleen Thomas
Lexi Wilson
Sean Harburg
For being such great friends and showing up to every single one of my gigs! I really appreciate it!

And everyone else who has given me support over the past two years, I truly appreciate it!

Like I said above, my recorder died after 10 hrs so this is the best I can do! You also may notice that my recorder freaks out for a little bit in the 4th part, not sure why...
