View Full Version : Capital for a party...looking for a good promoter

So here's the deal...
A buddy of mine has incurred some money, and is thinking about putting it towards a party.
This is basically just to establish contact...
He goes to parties all the time too, so he's not some rich fat cat trying to get richer, dig?
He just wants it to help a good group of people who want to throw a slammin' party with one dollar water and djs people want to see.
And lots of jungle.
So e-mail me or post if anyone's interested.
And i don't doubt there'd be some kind of lawyer shit on at least his part just to make it all kosher.

Tell your friend to be careful with his money and the promotion company he chooses to give it to. There are a lot of shady people out there who will leave him swinging with the bill if they can not pull through on the party. Even us somewhat seasoned promoters lose money ALOT!!
He probably would have a better time trying to put together a benefit or a small party on his own.
just thought I'd hand ya some advice. Just be careful and above all have fun.
xoxoxo,

Word to that kinetic, there are a lot of shaddy people in this city. So tell your friend to be very carful. My partner and I are actually looking for investors right now for out next party at NAF, in May. If your friend is interested drop me a line. And come check out our next party on the 23 at NAF, maybe you've seen the flyers "Bring the Nosie"
Peace and P.L.U.R.

Word
But He'll obviously want to make a little profit, at least for the sake of puttin money down and all that. He's not trying to capitalize or whatever, though.

SikBeets - I think I e-mailed u before about something, but never got a reply back. After my April 7th party I was thinking about having an all jungle party somewhere. I have not even started on getting any DJs, venues, etc cuz of this already upcoming event of mine. E-mail me back if u'd like to collaborate with me. Basically all I need is funding, and I can take care of everything else. I can get some phatty DJs from all over the state for cheap or even free. I hope this sounds like something ur looking for. If u'd like to call me and talk to me about it e-mail me and I'll give u the #.
Nick or any other production companies - If this sounds like a good plan then I could use all the help I can get with booking DJs, setting up, promoting, venues, funding, etc let me know by e-mailing me and we'll talk about it. I'd be more than happy to put any production companies name on the flyer if they help out.
Talk to everybody later. Bi-bi

first off defrinatly be carefull what would prolly work best is if you get a few crews workin together and keep good tabs on everyone...and as long as he is prepared for the possibility of lost revenue you should be all set.
and to n e one workin on n e thing email me and i'll help out too I have a few friends that can help out in various ways from lumber and construction stuff to djs and sound, I have a small system and such for a second room to(best for trance or house though).
good luck to you and your friend
Cethe
