I haven't seen any Pink videos or heard her songs, yet I totally fell in love with her when she did some print ads for Planned Parenthood a few years ago.

I agree with Pink. I don't think she is talking about the girls that "have it going on" but are really complete and satisfied or even interesting individuals. I think she means the girls who do it to get guys because thats all they know. I will probably get slammed because of this but I am really good friends with a lot of the girls that don't even know how to have a relationship with a guy because it is all about her trying to look and be pleasing, but has lost her view on reality. One particular friend of mine sat and cried as she realized that she had not done anything but flunk out of school, get fired or quit jobs, and basically mooch off of one "boyfriend" or handbag as she began to call them. Now to clarify I am not saying that all "hotties" are like this. I just think these are the girls that Pink is talking about. She stands up for women who stand up for themselves, no matter how they dress, or act. She much like most of the neofeminist movment is more focused on actualization than real lables. She didn't call the song "Stupid Girls" for nothing, if she wanted it to be about their looks that is what it would say, it is about STUPID girls. And for the record this works both ways. There are plenty of guys out there who do nothing other than "be hot" and spread the herps like strawberry jam at a southern breakfast.

For the record Pink and Shirly Manson are both ROCK STARS! And I will grocery joust anyone who says otherwise!

I love both Pink and Shirly Manson. I think they are both awesome. I think the kind of woman that Pink is talking about is not only stupid but shallow as all they care about is how they look and who they know. If you were to talk to them about current events they would probally say something ditzy.
