Hi folks,

The new Bike Wreck EP on Dope Recordings contains a special treat in the form of a damn fine little remix by none other than Mr. Geoff White, techno nerd extraordinaire. So to celebrate this occasion, instead of a more traditional write-up, we went to Myspace and got the blog post of a seventeen year old girl concerning what she thinks of the Bike Wreck EP…

Is it love?

Oh my God! Headwound by Attentat and Royale is like, soooooo hot!!! His eyes are just so deep and dubby, I could totally lose myself in his bass for hours. The way he is like, sensitive and heady, but still hot for the dance floor is so sexy. I know he likes me because he totally kissed me at the club and it was like echoing synths just filled my head and I couldn’t stop shaking my ass, it was like, so psychedelic! But it’s kind of complicated, because there is this other boy I like who remixed them.

His name is Alert’s Change Your Gauze mix, and he is like, so mysterious and dark! He’s got a leather jacket that says, “Minimal for life!” on the back in rhinestones, and it looks so sexy on him! He totally acts like he doesn’t like me, but I know he does, because he’s got so much funk in his kick drums. I just know how emotional he is inside, because of his trippy ass clips and cuts and beautifully subdued synth line. But, oh my God! I have to tell you guys about this boy I met last week!

Black and Blue by Attentat and Royale is Headwound’s older brother, and he is like so mature, not like the other boys. He is like so glitchy and thick, whenever I’m around him I just want to dance all night long! And he’s soooo funny! He makes all of these really great noises that are totally trippy, they make me laugh so hard. And he’s so supportive the way his bass line just wraps around you and makes you feel so warm inside. I really like him a lot, but then I met this friend of his.

Geoff White’s Let’s Rodeo Remix of Black and Blue is so cool! He just started hanging out with Dope Recordings this summer. He has his own traveling techno bus that he just makes the sexiest minimal techno funk in! He doesn’t live with his parents or anything! I went over to hang out in his studio and he has like, totally groovin’ synth lines and a peak hour groove that’ll slay the dance floor. He’s so cool, he took me back into his sound recording studio where no one can hear anything, and well… *wink*

So there you have it, folks. Keep your daughters away from the Bike Wreck EP. But you should probably get your hands on this hot shit and rock the dance floor like it’s prom night, and you spiked that damn punch up so good, an’ your dates lookin’ fine.
