I have a lot of dj's, bands, etc. either contact me that are friends of mine or unknown to me. It has the option to add their songs to my page. I'd really like to know if there is a way to download these songs to my computer so I can upload them on to my iPod. If you've put your songs on myspace you obviously want people to listen to them, and I do, but any where i go. I'm very new to the iPod (christmas gift) idea so if anyone can help me out.

to the mods - If I've put this thread in the wrong area pls move me to where i can get the best response

thanks :)

a lot of people, myself included, don't allow downloading off the music we upload to MySpace.. but you can still link the music on your page.

I don't know too many people that will allow you to download their original material, especially the well known artists. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

As most artists do, I use myspace to showcase new songs and then hopefully if people like them, they will go buy them at another site that sells them (not gives them away for free).

However, some artists, like myself, are selling some of their songs directly from their myspace page using a "Snocap" player/store.

Check out my myspace site and try downloading a few of my new tracks while you're at it :)

thanks for the info. i guess i was looking for something different. i understand people are trying to sell their cd's this was more so like getting my friends music, like rod :), to have they're latest since i don't see them that often anymore. moreso, they're free mixed demos. i just didn't know if there was a way to get it.

thanks again.
