Dj auditions for aura
We will be holding auditions for DJ's who want to bring energy and
vibe to aura for a rotational Thursday night event. If you are interested please email us at theauraproject@auraportland.com and provide the following information:
1) 2 venues that you have performed at .
2) Bio in resume form or open letter and or website with the information
3) What you expect in compensation for a 1.5 hour set
4) If you are avail Monday Febuary 4th for an interview and audition
with about 5 songs. Please come ready to showcase what you play the best.
(All DJ’s are welcome to come and spin.) We are looking for some real pioneers, we will be out of the box with this night for sure. It does not matter what style of House, D&B, techno,Deep house, electronica, down tempo, trip hop, etc. you play, it's more about integrating styles. We are looking for the bridge between styles to make a truly unique night.
We are looking for 6 DJ’s that have skills and can perform and bring in a crowd.
aura is located at 1022 W Burnside across the street from Powells Books
