If you play with fire, or know people who play with fire, we need to get in touch with one another. I have had an idea in my head for several years now, to mix fire with my nerdy little hobby, but it hasn't become a reality as of yet. This year though, I plan on changing that. I have from now until October to design a prototype that I will play with while it is on fire, as well as develop a solid freestyle routine. I have plenty of time to make this happen.
At Nationals, I plan on becoming the first person in history to compete with a flaming yo. I have no doubt in my mind that I can win the contest if I pull it off...And when I do, I will be able to make a living off of travelling the country doing demonstrations. No bullshit.
This is where the fire performers come in. If you know of any people, groups, or websites, please post them in this thread. I already have somebody working on the proto, which should be available to me in the next month or two. I just need to the fire addicts to help me come up with the most efficient way of lighting it on fire, and keeping it lit for a solid three minutes.
