Okay, AIH is only sorta electronic music (electronic sample pads, weird synths etc), but Yacht is totally electronic minus his voice, so I'm gonna post a review.
This show was so goddamn much fun OMG omg... you should cry for not being there. I can't remember the last time I was in a crowd where people all moved together in a non-moshing way that was like this.
The all ages factor DEFINITELY contributed. The kids had soooo much energy and love the crap outta AIH. I think AIH's uniqueness brings a feeling for the youngsters of being a part of a new generation... it is dissociated from rave, rock, hip-hop.... it is just crazy fun music with horns, guitars, two drummers at once commonly, samples, boy and girl vocals, rapping, singings, beat-boxish stuff... accapella wind instruments etc... EVERYTHING they can do to make sounds they'll do.
Yacht was pretty good too -- for one dude on stage just singing and dancing to his beats, he really puts on a show.
Next time either is performing do yourself a favor and check it out - you won't be sorry.
