this was my first time seeing Christopher and I must be honest ... He wasnt my style ... I mean he played good songs, but it was too techy for me and not enough anthem trance. I dont think he should be the number 4 DJ in the world but i wont hate on him too much as I would come out and see him again lol I think Johnny's set was better as it was pure Trance and thats what I like but it was an insane party and the people were PUMPED!!!

At 12:15, no sign of Christopher, Johnsoon still playin', prolly thinking the same thing I am, that he's gonna have to play all night. That's not a bad thing though, after about the fourth Corona, I dont think he gave a flying fuck if he had to play until next Tuesday. Plus Scott was lurking for backup.
Place was full, not packed, the usual suspects. Christopher played, well, Christpher stuff. A little more edgy than the A&B show, but he drove the beat clean from start to finish. The place did warm up alot, like John said, especially up on the balcony. Christopher looked comfortable, I think his back must be ok. He played to an enthusiastic crowd until the lights came on, then packed in one more for good measure. The volume did increase as the night got later, thank god LSC's sound system can take a regular daily punishing and still sound good.
I will continue to go see Christopher when and if he comes to town again, because I know I will get two hours of hearty, wholesome, meaty, bumpin 'Trancy goodness with every serving.
Thanks for comin Christopher.

not enough "anthem trance"... ... any local DJ can do that... sounds like Chris was being Chris, which is good to hear...

I was a fun night, but the best part was definitely hearing CL play Magnus' track at the end. That was awesome! So happy for you bud!

I can't even count the number of times I've seen CL spin. Miami, Ibiza, Gatecrasher, Portland, Vancouver, Seattle, Las Vegas, etc...
He's always a guaranteed great night of tracks. I have to admit, lately he's gotten a lot more psy-trance than I would like. I love the "driving" trance that he used to spin -- it had a definitive CL "sound" to it. I really admire that he writes/spins most of his own tracks, unlike the other monkeys who just play other people's stuff -- I guess that's why it had such a distinct sound.
Hearing our boy Magnus' track at the end was the cherry on top. CL played another track of Magnus' in Vancouver a few months back too. You all should consider yourself lucky -- you're witnessing the birth of a star, and you'll be telling your friends, "I heard that guy's track years ago at LSC, now we're seeing him headline massives!" :p
It sucks that CL's flight was late and we only got like an hour and a half or so, but what sucks more is the lame-ass rules of the Pioneer square. The fact that LSC have to shut down so early is weak beyond comprehension. That whole block is nothing but clubs and bars, I don't get it... Who's the panzy-ass that's complaining so loudly that the clubs can't stay open till 3 or 4am? Apparently there was some watchdog group walking around, and one of LSC's bouncers saw them heading towards the club and was screaming, "shut it down!!" while booking it full throttle, before they arrived.
Johnny, as blasphemous as it seems to say (about my boyeee CL), I thought your set was much more inline with my passion -- anthems baby!
All in all, it was a great night and I can't complain one iota. Thanks LSC, Jason, Johnny, CL, Magnus and the rest of the RBC for making it happen.
