I want to thank everyone who put so much effort into making Signal Flow happen, it turned out amazing!
Biggest thanks of course go to the man with the plan from Spokane, the creator and main man of the show, my best friend and business partner, Sean aka Diode. You kicked serious ass and made it all happen, man. Next up, Jeph aka DJ Conflix, not only was your debut set AMAZING, but we couldn't have gotten the show off the ground without you. You were key. THE key.
BIG THANK YOU to our sponsors Check 6 and Wired Energy Drinks for helping to make the show a success.
Jet, much thanks for lining up the AWESOME visuals (and thank you to Rob the laser guy!!), it made the show remarkable. Also, your promoting skills and MCing (not to mention being my part of my personal cheering squad ;) ) were instrumental.
Rachel, Tori, Geri, we wouldn't have gotten around without you, and your contributions were legend. You guys rock.
Alan, Isaac, Robert, Cory, the security team, everyone on staff I might have missed, thank you for your help, everyone's contributions were greatly appreciated!
To all the DJs, thank you for playing for us, you were all amazing and I hope we get to have you play for us at future shows!
Justin, Chelsea, Rob, thank you for coming through for us on rather short notice, that was awesome!
Thank you to everyone who came out to the show and showed your support for us and the scene!
And to everyone who distributed flyers, HUZZAH! No one would have known about the show if you guys hadn't gotten the word out! :)
In any thank you proclomation, people get missed, and if that happened here, I deeply apologize. Everyone's contributions were appreciated so much, you have no idea.
In addition to the love of the music, my participation was due to wanting to help my best friend fufill his dream. I think we did that. Thank you to everyone who helped make it happen.

Big thanks to you guys for having me and the crew out to play, we had a blast. Good job on your first show and lots of luck with any future shows, hopefully we can all do this again.

I'm really sorry. :(
I really hated getting fucked over and fucked around after I stood up for what I thought was right.
Never the fuck again.
Thanks for waisting my time after I helped kill your drama before the party.
Lesson learned.
Hope you enjoyed it.
To the very very stupid person who called AAA you fucking suck. Next time keep your shit on you amateur. Had the show gone tits up, u would have been shamed out of the scene for being so F*** ing dumb.
Highpoint s of the night-
Main Stage was awesome.
0% distortion, Very professional. Specially with all the Hardstyle ponding through it.
My Trance and NRG would have pounded incredibly throu those cabinets.
Lasers they were off the hook. I think the fact that we were so high up in the clouds helped quite a bit. But dammmmmm so many colors....
I don't know about the second stage because I'm not a huge fan of the D&B, but I kinda wish I saw it before I high-tailed it out of there.
I guess it was over all it was ok. What I'm burt about mainly is getting a special set together and then not being able to play it.

After all in all, of planning, running, stessing, we did it!!
i would love to thank everyone who came out, or even supported us.
I hope everyone enjoyed the dj's lol including myself at my debut!!! (WOOT)
Thank you all

Dj Conflicx sucked ass at beatmatching a ganre as easy as Hardstyle. The lasers were not that impressive. Raph did'nt even get to play and someone broke into my car and stole my digital camera while it was raining. I will never attend another party by Diode the pathalogical lier and Kate.

People can have headlining spots in other cities or states, and still suck. You can practice a demo a thousand times before you record it so that it sounds good, then have people talk you up to get you gigs. I can name a few people who have done this.
But I've never heard you play, so I'm not making any judgement as of yet.
But as far as the whole bickering in this thread goes....

OH and any issues i did have was; not only did i run the event, monitored everything, was up since 6 am that morning, was cold, and hadnt played on a djm600 before, on top of being stressed out i was amazing quoted by everyone who came up to me after my set and the next day.
and btw, i play "HARD TRANCE" as well has twice i did off timing on purpose its an effect, look on v-dj they have that on that program which tempest was running the whole time(GO TEMPEST YOU ROCK) so blow me ok,
"The lasers were not that impressive" LOL dude you need to get that tampon pulled before anything bad happens because ALSO quoted by everyone INCLUDING Raph & Check6 ( MY IDOLE!!!! WOOT!!!!) they where AMAZING.
lol raph didnt play cause he didnt get the timeslot he wanted.
IT DIDNT RAIN YOU FUCKING LIAR,
and even more funny is that if someone broke into your car you shouldn't of left it unlocked lol cause i worked clean up crew and our security would of know about it if someone broke into a car dumbshit, its ok that your a pre madonna and all, but keep it to yourself, no wonder pdx scene is dead right now there are douche bags like you giving it a bad name. And thats why we are now here, Diode Industries, K-star promotions, wired and our good friend check 6. to get this town bumping again!!!
P.S if i suck so much then why do i have headlining events in AZ already, hmmmmm i must suck that bad peace.
I disagree with you saying PDX scene is dead. Infact I think it's way better this year than the last 2 years.. PVD and Rabbit in the moon in the same year. Anyone that believes PDX scene is dead is very wrong. It's coming back stronger than ever. I heard this party went ok but I was at USC 10. I heard check 6 kicked ass. Big ups guys sounds like a success.

MY DICK IS STILL BIGGER THAN YOUR DICK  Maby it was not a trainwreck maby it was a messed up effect that sounded like shit. And my car did get broken into for reals. This party cost me 600$ and it was in the glove compartment. Doors were locked and all.. oh well lesson learned. On a positive note I would go to that outdoor location again.

The most important thing you'll ever learn as a DJ is to listen closely to criticism, if all you ever do is get defensive and tell people they don't know what the fuck they're talking about you'll never learn shit. Your friends, unless they're good friends, will almost never tell you that you fucked up or sounded like shit. That's just honest advice, take it how you want.

'Tis true. There are polite ways to critisize, like saying you have some good friends who care about you, but are not so objective in their review of your performance. It's easy to get caught up in the moment I guess, but really, work on your mixing.
Get out of that habit of trying to push the record around constantly(ride the pitch control), learn to phrase the tracks together better, control your levels more evenly and just forget about the effects untill these other skills become second nature(when you can dead-on pitch a record in 30 seconds or less).

Thats the truth ain't it! If you really thought you played good your rep will speak for itself homie. Its also takes character to admit when you played a bad set and is respectful to hear the people that paid money to come see this lineup. they are your fans, listen to them and respect them!

hey guys, sorry it took me a bit to hop online, ive been real busy. my first order of business is the level of gratitude i've got towards the people who have helped me in the production and the works of this show, i was very proud.
For all those who support the scene and are giving the supporting input, thank you soo much.
kate, youve been working on this since the beginning its been hard, but we are done, and we did good, thank you soo much.
conflicx, nice job on assisting me with setting this bitch up, for your first, u did fuckin good. i apreciate it bro.
thanx to my brother tito, aka dj check six, for a badass hardstyle lesson to all. and getting everyone all geetered off the wired aka (liquid crack).
jet you fucking hooked this up good, nice work bro, you and
Rob, the laser man, fucking sick awesome laser setup my friend, he will be having them at fire too, you should definately check that out. thx infinity six
and ppl, there is no need to argue. pdxklubkid i am soo sorry that your camera was stolen, if i could, i would have done anything in my power to prevent that from hapening, i tried man, i had my security all over the place, trying to prevent something bad like that, but i guess next time ill need more security. i dont know why i'm a pathological lier, or where you got that from, but if it has to do with raf, he is a really good friend of mine, i never wanted anything bad, but i made the mistake of scheduling one of the dj's from eugene way too late. it wouldnt of worked. i even offered to pay raf... but he showed up, then left.
anyway... this was my first outdoor party i've thrown... I LOVED IT!!!! thx everyone.
be safe.

Hey, I checked out doodlinggirl's pics, nice work! Does ANYone else have pics from the show? My digital camera was lost in an unfortunate incident a few months back, otherwise I would have a ton. So, PLEASE, if you took pics at the show, post 'em up! Or at least a link to where we can see them. Pretty please? :)

As far as the party went, I think for a first event it was decent. To go up against usc 10 and not totally lose your ass, that's a victory. You had some good talent, nice spot (abeit too close to the road in my opinion) and some people came despite the questionable weather and usc 10. There is always someone to bitch about any and every event, par for the course.

i hope your car looks worse than mine......

however the foot prints left by everyone (chelsea, bear, and all of youse) make me smile every time i see them. my car was the couch. :p

Beat matching has only some to do w/ what your choons are running at. If you cant match the kick, or the drop beat, then its not gonna work. even if their both running at the same BPM........and youve never played w/ a DJM600? You havnt played that often eh?
