if someone could record one of them and put it online so that I could see, that'd be great...

I think Sawka's mom records almost everything he does. I'm sure she'll put it on youtube or something.

KJ Sawka is the radness, it's killer that so many people will get to see him now that Blake is blowing up!

Watching it now...
Not so hot. Kinda the lamest form of pop rock ever.
Naturally, it's all focused on Blake, who is just singing... no beat boxing, not even using those fancy samplers at his feet... and poor ol Kevin is just playing the same 4 bars over and over and over..

this gets 10 lame points out of 5.

I can't believe I'm in on Friday night watching this shit. WTF. I get at least 7 lame points for that myself.

Oh, now Conan and His Beard are on. Thank God.

yeah, he honestly must agree that this is the direction he does NOT want to go. he could much better. it got ultra corny toward the end. hope he's got some better things to come. still glad to see him do his thing tho.

i didn't like the song. if he was smart, he woulda shut up for a sec, and let kevin slip off into a sick ass break for about 15 seconds while he beatboxed.

whatever, though. if you were at naf, and now you're on leno [and not for killing someone, or for breaking a drug-taking record of any sort], that's pretty damned cool in my book.

i <3 conan's beard!

I heard this song before... somebody had posted his first two songs a little while back... I recall liking his other song much better...

this song he performed, is it his original song? of course we're going to be harsh critics, but I wonder what the rest of the country thinks?

why did he do that "whoooo ha ha haaaa ha ha ha haaaaa..." thing at the beginning?

not bad, I guess. not exactly my cup of tea, but a clean performance. but that intro would have had me changing the radio station in a jiffy if I heard it driving around sometime.

that was fucking terrible. not really surprising tho, his album was pretty much just as bad too. going by the passion he seemed to have during the perfromance, it's hard for me to think he doesn't want to be going in this direction.
i'm dissapointed sawka seems just as willing to be dragged along down the pop chart poop chute as lewis.

I love that song actually.

the Leno show doesn't really do it justice though, the original is much techier and he uses a lot more of his beatboxing and the lyrics are super layered.

glad I missed this.... heh.

I saw KJ Sawka at the loft for the first time recently and was blown away. some serious and unique talent right there. I've seen clips of blake's old live performances, and I'm sure they could just tear it the fuck up together.

but if whoever is managing them is having them mainstream their performances thats really too bad. only hope is it will give them exposure and then to come out with what they can really do.

Maybe I recorded something wrong but I totally didn't see him.... oh well. What I saw was just really, really, really BAD. Will check the youtube some other time, just to make sure.

It must have been super easy for Blake & KJ to book their promotional spree on three shows that have union writers on strike and most of the standard talk show celebrity guests blacklisting those shows. Makes me wonder if Blake & KJ will get blacklisted themselves once the strike ends.

Oh well sucky or not they are still more talented than all of you put together. One of the best shows Ive ever seen was kj, blake and kid beyond, for the last hour of the show they battled and it was fucking amazing. Last I heard Kj sawka was working with London Electricity. So what if he's backing up blake on his pop tour?

I think the sound of Blake Lewis' voice is irritating... Maybe it's not my style or I just hate American Idol so much that I can't look past it...
