Well, I hear a lot of people saying that drugs at parties isn't what its all about. Which is true. Because parties are what you make of them. Drugs don't decide the outcome of the party.

"You chose the drug, the drug didn't choose you."

"You cant blame drugs you blame the user."

Just like anything else theres a good and a bad to EVERYTHING. In my opinion I feel that good drugs are the ones that make you think and understand and are fun, bad drugs are the kind that are ONLY used for fun or to satisfy an addiction of some sort, or used just to be cool. Self control is the key thing here. But everybody has their opinions on what are good and bads drugs.

Like everybody else, Im human and have been in those positions where I took too much or felt like I should dose because everybody else was. But I learned to think for myself and have control. And of course over time I will fuck up and do it again. But I give it my all to make sure I dont.

Everyones a hypocrit and everyone makes mistakes. EVERYONE!!!

Please post your thoughts. Or feel free to email.

I think that occasional use of substances for personal reasons is fine. I have had too many friends become addicted to pot and alcohol and alot fo harder things. This bothers me because they are different people now and have a warped view of life becasue they don't know what it is like without the drugs. And the fact that 14 yr old kid can go to a party and roll or fry REALLY bothers me. This is not a knock on raves, but it is going to happen more at raves, that is all.

I drink at clubs and that is about it. I personally do not see any need to do drugs to enjoy myself at music events or in life. I firmly belive that drugs should not take precedence over music at parties, and unfortunately I feel this is the main problem with the "scene" all over right now. At least for the most part.

Drugs do not make a party and drugs do not make an experience. BUT to each their own. I just wish people would think about why they are spending $30 to get into a party, $20 for a dose and $15 for water to sit on the floor and cuddle. Why not sit at home, roll, and watch your screensaver and listen to a Cd? No cuddle friend? Buy a stuffed animal.

Just some opinions.

my biggest peaves about drugs are that nothing seems fun anymore to those who use them... i quit doing everything a year ago as of yesterday (feel free to congradulate me on my one year anniversary images/smilies/smile.gif) hehehe... but anyway... it took a good 6 month break from partying all together to get me in the right frame of mind to not go back to it. i find alot of my frined's conversations mainly consisting of drug stories... i have alot myself, and theyre good stories, but when you ask your best frineds what they did this past weekend, and the only response you get is..."dude, i got sooooo fucked up" followed by events that make you think, "and you willingly did this to yourself?" in moderation is all fine and well, but there are some people out there, myself included that cant deal with moderation, so beware my frineds, and please be careful, and i agree with potential energy, seeing 14 year olds all rolled and fried at parties bugs me too... especially since i was there once myself... take care everybody! much love, ben

There are already a few posts on this.
