First off gotta say I love Ultra Sound. With that said:
I have always wanted to see Rabbit in the Moon I heard they play a great live show, and I missed them last time they were here. I also heard Hybrid has an amazing show as well.
Crystal Method.
Chemical Brothers
Sasha
Digweed
Dave Seaman
Nick Warrren
Deep Dish
Deep Sky
My wish List. I'm sure I will add more later.
Oh yeah a few more,
Paul Van Dyk
Daft Punk
Icey
Adam Freeland
One last thing I have been to the last couple of End Fest shows and I gotta say that the electronic Pavillion has always been my favorite part. Hope it's even better this year.

why dont we try some experimental? sooooo many people go to end fest, why not give everyone something whith a new sound or maybe we could just get "ATB" and have 10,000 12 year olds hang off Moby's nuts?! god i hate how trendy endfest has gotten the first few were great and the premiere of the e pavillion was fantastic but GAWD bring some new talent to the oh so sheltered people!

I agree, NO Dieselboy...
my personals
- Infected Mushroom - I would find it HIGHLY amusing to see 10,000 rockers and teeny boppers get mind fucked
- Andy C
- Ed Rush&Optical
- Paul Van Dyk - would be nice since a party promoter will never bring him out.
as far as locals?
Muschi of [inertia labs] (in fact, have them do the whole chill area at End Fest... www.mutated.org) (http://www.mutated.org))
Tertyl from PDX
NAHA - end festers would appreciate hardcore I think
Jesiah - an up and comming prodigy!
Swank&Lisa Nelson - mmm funky
Revolution Void - live PA, housish
Rob Atomic - live PA, goa trance
there's a ton of other locals who are worthy, but that's what I can think of now and the ones that stand out in my mind...
Shu'kran,

metal blade, as far as your thoughts of a line-up, if you rought out those people, I would definetly be there, that's avery good line-up, keeping the more commercial acts in good taste.
And I do agree, we've seen dieselboy 100 times this year, but tech-itch owns, get ed rush and optical, I know you love them (grins).

With the budget endfest must have I'm just thinking you could pull off some pretty crazy things. I'd love to see a room with 6 or 8 screens. Maybe manned by two different crews, different visuals everywhere you looked.... Could be great fun.
Let me know if your interested in discussing anthing of the nature.

hmm...in order to represent the scene as best as possible, I think the acts brought in should really represent some of the best the scene has to offer. In addition, harder, or more visual acts should be brought in, as I think they'll go a bit better with the typical KNDD listener...nonetheless...here goes the list...
TRANCE
Christopher Lawrence
Federal
Deepsky
Skylab2000
Rabbit in the Moon
Paul van Dyk, or any of the Dutch Gods...(yeah right!)
JUNGLE
Teebee
Ed Rush & Optical
Dara
Usual Suspects
Bad Company
if mc's are brought in...PLEASE make sure that they're actually good!
HOUSE & TEKNO
Carl Cox
Sven Väth
Green Velvet
Donald Glaude
Anne Savage
Lisa Lashes
hmmm...a threeso-...er...2x4 with Anne Savage and Lisa Lashes...yummy!
Some other genres would be good...some Psy-trance or hardcore to scare the hell outta people would fun! images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Since I have been feeling deep house lately how about Mark Farina and Derrick Carter 2x4?
Daft Punk would be ill though.

metal blade... a big phat HELL NO to the dieselboy! HELL NO!!! There is MUCH better Dnb talent then that, but I guess we *are* talking about a radio station's event and i used to work for one so I know they are all about booking the *for sure* talent that will draw a crowd and not necessarily the best... no more dieselboy though... PLEASE!!!!

A few more ideas...
Digweed with a 4-5 hr set would be cool (not gonna happen though)
Grab Darren Emerson and get him back with Underworld and get them there. That would beat just about anything.
Orbital would be nice.
and if we are banning Dieselboy...then we HAVE to ban Ink/Loxy/(enter random renegade hardware dj here) I mean how many friggin times have those guys played in this city in the last 3 months alone?
OR you can get Aphex Twin or Autechre and freak all the little kiddies out.

my suggestion for booking acts/djs would be to check out which big names have played at massives in the nw lately and NOT book them. try getting acts into town that people don't get to see here, or acts that have NEVER performed anywhere in the northwest.
a lot of people have suggested bringing in djs/live PAs that can be seen every few weeks at a massive somewhere in the northwest. i think it would be a better show if there was some originality in the electronic pavilion rather than simply bringing in names that everyone around here has heard again and again (even if they are excellent djs or whatnot). take donald glaude for instance, if i can go see him play for 3 bux at a club in town, why would i want to hear him play at an event which costs many times more than that? i'd much rather hear a local dj i've never heard of or seen before in between the big name performances.
since you stated a big budget is involved with the next endfest show, i'd suggest looking into booking those that don't perform around here (here being portland-vancouver bc) more than once a year.
heh i just looked at the list of ppl i'd like to hear and realized my suggestion afterwards is pretty hypocritical since a lot of them will be/have been at events in the nw fairly recently. however, i know there are a lot of excellent drum n bass/jungle djs and live acts that i haven't heard of before, and there are probably just as many that have never had the chance to play here in the northwest. so yeah...book those ones.

I am from Kansas City, and the midwest has a lot of incredible talent that never gets seen anywhere else. By booking some of these hometown heros you would be doing them and yourself a favor, they can throw down like no other.
Dj Nitro (K.C.)- Spins the phattest funky disco house you have ever heard! He is best overall representative of the midwest.
Dj Booth (Louisville, KY)- Speedgarage master, him and Nitro do 2x4 Disco Death Match that will blow anyones mind and rock a party right.
Dj Clockwerk (K.C.)- A close personal friend of mine, and one of the finest up and commer in the midwest. Every set he spins you can see him getting more and more impressive. He spins a very high energy house/breaks set that will get you jumpin'.
Zak C (Linclon, NE)- One of the tightest 2step DJ's I have ever heard, the last time I saw him spin I could not bring myself to stop dancing the whole set.
All of these midwest heros can be booked through Echobass.com
I would also like to see:
Rabbit in the Moon
Goldie
DJ Omar (not Omar Santana)
MJ Cole
Artful Dodger
Aphrodite
DJ Dan

of course no one is probably reading this anymore........ but you guys should get someone that is like not already played here a million times........... aphrodite has played in the nw a couple of time already and hes a good producer but jeez ....after hearing the same bass lines from all his traks .....he'll put you to sleep.......
get someone like Adam Beyer.....
or some guys from drumcode .....those crazy swedish guys are some of the best techno producers around...... they could play the same two tracks their whole set and you would still be amazed.......
or some other suggestions:
Doc Martin ----- hasn't played up here in a while ( i don't know about seattle)
or try:
Dubtribe sound system (Cali.)
total science (UK ?)
organ grinder (chicago)
murat (Detroit)
hakin lidbo (Cali ?)
jamie anderson
john tejada
man there are so many unbelieveable djs out there.... that so many people have never heard in the NW and it sucks 'cause most promoters keep booking the same talent....... over and over again
boring........ BE DYNAMIC
BE DIFFERENT
but of course you still should have someone well know in the NW thats played here a couple of times that would attract people..... but loosen up ...strech your wings.....
thanks ...peace.....
