Looks to be a good show. Only $80 for all three days, too.

Del and grynch for sure.
Seen STP a couple times way back in the day. Might be interesting to see if Ol Scotty can still pull it off, or if it becomes a spectacle.
Anti flag, for sure
Asylum street spankers are always good for a laugh.
Neko Case
Saul Williams
Lee "Scratch" Perry
Final Fantasy (kinda appeals to my inner nerd)
I wonder what the heck William Gibson is doing there this year? Does he have a band too?
We shall see.

I stopped going when the price went past $15.
It's pretty ridiculous at this point, and I don't think I want to touch it with a 3-mile pole.

Lucinda Williams and Jakob Dylan would be the only 2 I care to see really. I've seen STP twice already, so that doesn't excite me.
Seems like every year, the line-ups get worse and worse. :( Maybe I'm just getting old.

It seems like the lineups just have less of a focus on local and indie artists like they used to and seem to be more focused on what's in frequent rotation on VH1. I too miss the old Bumbershoot that used to be all about local arts for about $10 a day instead of the fake SXSW/ fake Coachella they try to put on now. Isn't it something like $40 a day for ticket?

I completely agree. I feel like if I did go..... I'd have to get some skinny pants, die my hair black, and get a side swoop haircut.

my dad always does a booth at the bookfair, so if i can score free tickets ill go for at least one day

PAX was cool last year. I got to go with a friend who was pretty well known in the industry.(Help create sega & the 360) So I got to be personally introduced to some of the greatest and most ingenious developers. I will probably go to both being as PAX isnt something you do all day.
Omegathon FTW!

hmm...how fortuitous that my boyfriend's production partner and best friend happens to be a sound engineer at Tip's studio in Atlanta.
i think we are going to try for free passes to at least one day of bumbershoot *crosses fingers*

Id be interested in Sunday's line up. Paramour, Deathcab for Cutie, Offspring, Jakob Dylan, Flobots... Just me though. I'm not one for huge crowds though and would probably find myself (as I'm apt to do in mindless, idle crowds) trying not to kill people as I walked around. I have zero patience for that kind of stuff.
But then again that's what alcohol is for. Maybe if I start drinking early enough in the day I really wont care what happens, lol. *ponders*
