So this guy's all emo that his wife left him so he's up and selling his life on Ebay.
Link (http://www.alife4sale.com)
He's selling his house, cars, motorcycle, jet ski, friends, and a position at his job. And he lives in Perth, Australia.
He wants to sell it all, then leave with nothing but the clothes on his back, his wallet and passport.
Sounds pretty sweet to me.
Would you sell your life if you were up and done with it?

i've done it myself! I found it rather liberating in my 20's but wouldn't think of it at my current state of affairs.
Granted I didn't do it on ebay trying to scream for attention though.

That's bullshit! If I'm taking the time to buy his life, I expect his passport as part of the package.

Sometimes you have to let go of the past to make room for the future.. & if it involves a bad relationship, getting rid of everything that reminds you of that person helps you move on...

That sounds great! I'm not ready to sell my life now but I will in a few years. Then I'll live in a quiet hippie place like Breitenbush and meditate all day.
It's a weird culture we live in, so consumerist that we're even selling esoteric concepts such as lives.....

Sounds pretty extreme to me, but he'll have a good sum of money to start a new life if he wants. Unless of course his soon to be ex wife gets in on his profits. Then he's just screwed.

ha! at first i though it said "tired of your WIFE? sell that bitch!"
:p :D
i dont think it's his ex. it kinda sounds like she died.
can't blame him :(
people deal with grief in really bizarre ways. running off to start anew in the face of debilitating pain sounds extreme and crazy yet somehow healing.

Sounds like the lady who left him knew what she was doing. Someone who will do something like this probably left some warning signs of weirdness along the way.

I heard the bid was around $7500, and that he was disappointed with the outcome. I would be too! He should have just had a garage sale.

Parent put child on ebay
May 30, 2008
German Couple Loses Custody of 7-Month-Old Son After Posting Him on eBay for $1.60. BERLIN — Authorities in southern Germany have taken custody of a 7-month-old boy after his parents posted an ad on eBay offering to sell him for one euro, or about $1.60. Police spokesman Peter Hieber says the baby was placed in the care of youth services in the southwestern Allgaeu region. Hieber said on Saturday that the mother told police the Internet ad was only a joke. Authorities have begun an investigation into possible child trafficking against the parents. No offers were made for the child in the two hours and 30 minutes the ad was posted. The Internet auction site deleted the posting later. Several people who saw the ad alerted police.
