Whisperwind is a great Horde server. I have had numerous horde toons on WW> Good peeps, and pretty good progression as well.

I'm back to CoD4 and MX vs ATV Untamed. :D

I used to be on whisperwind as a dwarf priest (in the guild Aberration before bc) providing fear ward :), but then i went horde.

Im most likely going to transfer to whisperwind... Still debating

Depends dude. In our guild we have pretty much everything but you can always go priest or tank and be a warrior.

Got to T-6 end game and found that WoW is the biggest most boring waste of time ever.



I was playing AoC and its awesome but still needs to be patched a bunch. The community needs about a year for all the weak ass kids to get to lvl 80 and leave the game so the people who aren't total fuck wades can come in and set shit up. Take all the ass holes on WoW and throw them all on one server and you have Deathwhisper AoC server.

WoW had some fun people but the game play was so simple and they have taken any sense of accomplishment out of the game that now its not worth it.

I don't miss feeling like I must play the game just to keep up with everyone else so I don't get left behind.

Just picked up Alone in the Dark 5, its rocks, will rock harder after they patch the minor bugs. Next month Mercenaries 2 and the new Brother in Arms comes out. Starcraft 2 is a short time after that, also Tiberium (the new C&C FPS) is supposed to come out around the same time as Brothers in Arms.

I think everyone figures that out sooner or later... took me about 2 days. WoW sucks. All you do is wait for a number to go up, then get new shit to wear.

I know. All the boss fights are easy as hell, but every time we would end up with 5 smart players, 10 ok players, and 10 idiots who would fuck it up for everyone else.

All the T-6 stuff can be done in T-3 gear so you can't blame it on that.

Its just people being really fucking dumb and/or having really shit house computers.

They need to make an MMO where the end game has more to do with what you do personally. Instead of having to put up with a bunch of BS just to get through a raid instance that should take no less then 3 hours to clear.

They are dumbing down WoW just for this reason. Watch what happens when WotLK gets released, carebear heaven.

If you are casting curse of shadows and spamming shadow bolt there is no reason you can pwn rogues and hunters.

lol yeah 24% crit, 1120 Spell Dmg, 208 Spell hit = z0mgDPS

10K shadowbolts, 4 items that proc bonus spell dmg as well.

when all 4 proc at the same time, my spell dmg soars to 1850.......

it's a joke how much DPS I do.

Yeah but I would rather spend my little game playing something that's fun. Not a cluster fuck of lame instances that after you do all of them and get all the shit over a few months, blizzard comes out and gives them away for fucking Heroic badges.

WoW was fun until I woke up (like many of you) to the fact that:

1. Blizzard can't make end game to save their lives.

2. What the fuck is the point of doing end game when you can get T-6 gear for heroic badge tokens.

So you agree that the game sucks and its only really good for meeting other people, most of which are fucking idiots? So in the end the redeeming value is negated by the overwhelming amount of 16yo ass hats.

There are 11 million+ douchbags out there, that doesn't mean they aren't douchbags, it just means they have grouped together in large numbers.

WoW stops being fun once you get good at it. Its a dumb down POS.

Nope, didn't say that at all. Your experience with the game is totally different from mine, hence your vehement hatred for it, apparently.

I'm topping out at 1600 DPS now in raids with no gear left for me to get that I would bother grinding out raids for, yet I still enjoy mingling with friends and downing bosses while cracking jokes and chit chatting with my guildmates (of which we have anywhere form 40-80 online at a time).

Gotta say, though, it is pretty fun to talk to interesting people from all over the place....and I do have to admit that I have a particular fondness for my server's trade chat. Lots more than trade going on.

I also play because it's something for me and my boyfriend to do together. Never dated a dude that loves video games as much as I do. It's really quite nice. But, of course, we also DO have very active lives outside of Azeroth.... :)

Sadly, WoW is the biggest MMO that's available for the mac right now. And yet, I still don't feel like getting back into it. I should really get a copy of windows on this here machine of mine. (At the very least, I should be able to play Pirates of the Burning Sea, since I work for Flying Labs now...)

Well I don't know what your gear or DPS has to do with the over whelming amount of ass hats in WoW and low quality end game but ok.

Grats on the DPS though, glad you finally listened to me on the spec's.

WoW isn't really fun unless you are progressing. I guess if you are very easily entertained and really really enjoy the people on there then the game would be great for you.

What makes that even sadder is that all the fights in the game are basically the same 5-6 fights. Attack, stop attacking, move, attack, click on something, attack.

So what it really comes down to is that you are paying $16 a month to talk to the same 40-80 people over the internet. Now that's really really fucking sad.

That's like paying $16 a month to beat gears of war with the same 3 people but spending 10-20+ hours a week doing it.

if i get bored of PvE, i go ganking on the Isle. If I get bored of that I do arenas. If I get bored of that I go explore questlines I may have missed/skipped while leveling.

I guess I am "easily entertained" :)

My plan when I hit seventy is to hoard (no pun intended :p) twenty-five regular quests, already completed, and keep room for five dailies. Once the new expansion release is upon us, I will fill up those five quests spots with regular quests and complete those too...that way when the expansion hits, I can turn them in and get experience toward seventy-one without having to do much to begin with. That is, if it all goes according to plan....but SHHHH, keep it our little secret! ;)
