I've started this thread in protest to the "wine" thread. That stuff is piss and you know it. Any real raver would only drink it to get the effects. Why because "rave" is synonymous with sweet.
So I'm talking about my fave beverage, Hot Chocolate.
Maybe you haven't had it in awhile but you should(no, not swiss miss instant or carnation). Any real cafe should have it..if it's just a few pumps of the ol' Hershey's syrup in milk you should run! I'm talking hand-made with the cocoa powder (ghirardelli's?), sugar, vanilla and salt. God! It's good for the soul.
I like it better than coffee..the caffiene seeps in, gently- not BAM! like coffee.

On cold days I'm known to drink both red wine and hot chocolate. SOMETIMES RIGHT AFTER THE OTHER!!!! Well, not really, but I could in theory. I have yet to truly put that idea into application...

Unless my hot chocolate is spiked with something else, I dont find the same euphoric "enjoyment" out of it as I would draining a bottle of vino. So there. :p

El Diablo Coffee company on queen anne makes the best Mexican hot chocolate. Unsweetened dark chocolate, sugar, vanilla, steamed milk, and chili powder.

Closest thing I've had to Mexican hot chocolate since I was...well....in Mexico.

Bloody Mary's and Vodka Ceasar are SO good. I have Clamato and Bloody Mary mix in the fridge at all times. And it's all about the pickled green beans.

But... that's not because I dont like wine... it just gives me the WORST heartburn ever. EVER.

I'm a big fan of Ibara hot cocoa.
