Are any of you in the northwest watching this event right now? Supposedly the showers are going to reach a peak in intensity tomorrow morning, but as Socal is the sunny place to be, a bunch of fog rolled into the bay for about the tenth time in a row. I'm trying to decide if it'a worth it to drive up the ridge-line to see this.

I just went outside and didn't see a thing. It's still kinda light out here.

I started seeing them up here in Ak about a week ago but nothing too crazy yet. Hopefully the clouds will lift and I can get out to set out the old time lapse for a good capture.

I visited my sister for it in Eastern Washington last year. Pretty good show. Quite a few doubles and even some triples. I read that is the hallmark of Perseid. You can watch for 20 minutes, and see nothing, then get 5 minutes with 10 or 15.
