From one of The best home theatre subwoofer manufacturers - M&K MILLER & KREISEL MX-100 $400. This will be availble as of Friday. I would be happy to let potential buyers audtion it this week. When I originally purchased this sub I paid over $1,400. It is in excellent condition.

This is not one of your usual wannabe home theatre subs; this sub is very musical as well as can seriously shake the house. Most consumer subs can't even make 30Hz. If they can the frequency response is not uniform in the range that it needs to be (20Hz-75hz). You will be amazed on what you hear on the low end that you have been missing. I have had a few house parties and every DJ that has plaid on my system had only good things to say about this sub.

M&K MILLER & KREISEL MX-100 Is one of the most popular powered subwoofer has become the defacto standard for professional facilities around the world. Extending response to well below 20 Hz, the MILLER & KREISEL MX-100 insures that mixers will hear the entire bandwidth of the program material with full dynamic range. M&K's Push-Pull Dual Driver technology essentially eliminates even-order harmonic distortion to provide unprecedented articulation at low-frequencies. The MILLER & KREISEL MX-100 's Headroom Maximizer Circuit lets the full uncompressed dynamics of the mix to be heard up to the subwoofer's full capacity - while preventing amplifier clipping and distortion. Its deep bass design produces significant deep bass output, with an in-room response flat to frequencies well below 20 Hz. The MILLER & KREISEL MX-100 reproduces bass frequencies below 20Hz with excellent transient response, accuracy and an authority that other subwoofers can not match.

The cabinet contains two speakers, 1 front mounted aiming forward and another at the bottom facing upward. The front has a detachable cloth grill that looks excellent. It's specifications are as follows: The M&K MX-100 powered sub-woofer utilizes two of M&K’s upscale 12" drivers in a push/pull configuration – they’re driven by a internal amplifier. The MX-100 has a variable 20-125Hz low-pass filter with an additional filter at 125Hz, this yields a roll-off rate of 36dB/octave. The amplifier panel on the rear provides a pair of line level RCA inputs as well as switches for power, phase and variable crossover control with bypass (for use with a Dolby Digital® M&K MX-100 sub-woofer (rear panel)or THX® processor which has its own bass management) as well as a gain control. At 23" tall the MX-200 is not too large to fit comfortably into a room but at almost 80 pounds it is heavy to lug around! A tightly attached snap-on grill covers both the forward firing driver as well as the opening for the downward firing driver.
