Are you kids SERIOUS? I'm hopeing this thread is all one huge joke. How could you call Sandpoint a GOOD venue.

1. SOUND QUALITY:
Hmmmm I know I wasn't the only person who noticed that the music sounded like shit. Ack....are we all so used to bad sound quality (example: naf) that we now think its good?! Please...someone...think about the music for a minute please!

2. IT WAS A FRIGG'N JAIL!
WTF!!! Can you say SCARY! I looked up upon the walls and there were shower heads sticking out! It seemed more like the cops were trying to get all of the happy lil ravers into one area and lock them up and gas em!

Now I understand that Surefire was that production companies first party, and most everything was a WHOLE lot sketchy. (examples; electricity problems, dj problems, sound problems) but most of all THE DECORATIONS! (ug...i'm not even going to discribe the decorations at Surefire)

If Trinity is thrown at Sandpoint they sure as hell better put up a lot of decorations to try and mask what that place really is. And I would also hope that they install some sort of acoustical fix to make the music sound halfway to okay. And for $30 at the DOOR!!!! Well....i'd expect one HELL of a party.

Hope you can pull it off!
PLUR!
*cough...i think i just choked on that one*

sound quality isn't the problem, its sound placement. When you have a fully concrete room, you're gonna get alot of dead waves echoing....the key is to set up stacks of speakers in each corner of the room facing in...so as long as you are inside the 4 stacks, everything sounds peachy...once u walk outside it, it'll sound like a messed up jumbalaya, but hell, if you're walking outside the 4 speakers, you're probably not interested in dancing at that point..
