I haven't listened to her show in years. I used to listen every Friday pretty religiously. Always very cutting edge music. I can imagine that she has got some exciting dubplates in her crate the likes of most of us have prolly never heard. I am excited about this show for sure.

REALLY CANT WAIT FOR THIS!

Mary Anne Hobbs has had a huge impact on me. Ive been listening to her show for as long as i can remember, really as long as Ive had internet fast enough to stream the BBC. She has also had a huge impact on electronic music world wide. Dubstep, as well as artist like Flying Lotus and the Lucky Me camp owe this woman BIG BIG BIG!

NOT GONNA LIE, may have a lil-long-term-crush going oh herrrrre!

For real tho....come out to this show, and expect to hear dubs/slaps you wont hear anywhere else.

big up the fam @ The Abstract Earth Project for absolutely slaying ptown these days....

SO EXCITED FOR THIS ONE!!!!

HUGE BOOKING!!!

Fyi, Hobbs played an instrumental roll in blowin' up the Low End Theory crew and whole SoCal scene in general (FlyLo, Gaslamp, Daedelus, Glitch Mob, Nosaj, Samiyam, etc). I can guarantee if Hobbs gets a warm reception and a taste of the NW's talent pool, it's only a mater of time before Portland and Seattle get their much deserved props via Radio 1.

Without a doubt, I feel like Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver too have an emerging sound that can stand up to the size and quality of the emerging "West Coast Rocks" sound. I'm really excited to see how the sound of the NW will mutate in the next 18 months to 2 years. It's a remarkable time to be a citizen of the West Coast right now!
