people charge too much for using lazers... whats your hourly rate>? or day rate? send me a pm for three color and full color spectrum. I need some simple lazers, that have programs built in, and wont require a human to operate. I want to turn it on, use it, and turn it off.

Sorry for the bad news is the only way in the US to have a laser run by itself is it has to be 4.95mw or less. Unless if its a chauvet fat beam which is 10mw. The reason why it cost so much for lasers is in the US the projector needs to have a variance and you yourself needs a variance. All shows you need to fill out paperwork that takes about an hour. Plus in Portland you need to pay the fire marshall a 100.00 permit fee for each show. Just to let you know the laser projectors that I used for your show, if I would have bought them brand new which I didn't are about $15,000 a piece. Ebay has a bunch of lasers that says they are FDA aprove but they are not. Running lasers without a variance could result in a $300,000 fine from the goverment. Sorry I know it sucks but that's why lasers cost so much to rent. You can Blame the FDA!

You have to be safe if you want to play with lasers. You can do harm if some one is not on-top of the performance. If you have a laser operator that isn't doing there job as written in there variance they are potentially putting you and your friends in harms way.
Basically your eye focuses the light you see down 10,000 times into the back of your eye. Any significant amount of light can possibly damage your vision. On top of that don't insult your crown by having a flailing laser show. Just silly.
