Always a joy to see the Innerflight crew play. Kadeejah Streets opened with a perfect set to get the party started, folllowed by a really awesome live PA by a terrific duo called NERD REVOLT. J-Sun, freshly back from his year-long world tour, tore the roof off the place with a completely sick set that was part funky house, part electro, and part I don't know what but I couldn't stop dancing anyway. novaTRON took it from there, and with the roof torn off the place, the noise complaints rolled in - fortunately between a few adjustments to the bass and a decibel meter, the police were convinced they had better things to do. I left after Gel-Sol started winding the party down with a perfect ambient set, but fuck that guy anyway. There's a T-shirt about it. ;)
Crowd was incredible for an afterhours. I've never seen that many people at one--the place was PACKED! I'm really happy to see the Oseao getting used again - it's too amazing a venue not to be used. :)

Jeez, that was off the chain! The vibe was thick as fuck and the crowd was a perfect mixture of my best friends (old and new) and total strangers. I missed KDJ because I was over at Neumo's, but I'm sure he destroyed it as always. Nerd Revolt was fucking rad. Those guys are seriously, seriously gonna blow up sometime soon here. And they"re both super hot, to boot. But I honestly was (once again) most impressed by Phil Western. I've seen him a few times now and he never disappoints. While talking to him after his set, I told him that his music reminded me of a late 90s acid/progressive/tribal/new york house fusion revival. He told me that's right around when he stopped paying attention to other music... Works for me! Keep up the stellar work, man. I really dug what Nova was doing, too. I was surprised to hear some steady, midtempo techno sounding stuff in there. I can't wait to hear the album. I missed Gelly-Gel, but I'm sure his set was fun, gorgeous and goofy, as always.
The Red Eyed after hours was definitely the most fun I've had so far at this year's Decibel Festival. I'm not sure if it was because the show as populated by a bunch of my best friends or because the music was a serious departure from most of the stuff I've heard so far. Either way, it's all good.
See a bunch of you at the Shameless showcase, the COB after hours, the park, Neumo's tomorrow or wherever the fuck we all end up. We're only halfway through the festivities, kiddies!

Wow!! That event exceeded all expectations. It's been a while since I've seen a dance floor freaking out that hard! Had a good feeling about the night when we had the space filling up by 1am. :)
Pics, video & audio coming soon.
Some corrections...

We want to thank everyone again for coming out and getting down with us. We're sorry that the bar had to close early, but with the po-po walking up in there we didn't want to put the venue at any risk.
Innerflight will be hibernating for much of the fall while we prep a slew of new releases, including an upcoming Nerd Revolt EP, novaTRON's debut LP, tons of remixes, and even adding some brand new artists to our roster!

Big Up to Innerflight for putting together a great line up!
it was a awsome to play after Phil Westen as he had had build the vibe up
nicely (coming off of Nerd Revolt!) for me to step into...
Despite the smallness and temperture of the venue (i've never sweated
that much during a gig) it was one of the funnest gigs i've had in a while
and was a great way to start my dB weekend!
Way to be Seattle!
