Vibe was spot on!
all the players did an amazing job doing what they do.
FLASHBULB- holy shit!!! with him and Bartel both bustin out the hooked up guitars! amazing for the eyes!
played soooo many good tracks. I enjoyed both sets but when Flashbulb busted out the hard stuff at the end.
I was ecstatic!
XANOPTICON- brought it!! even harder than I expected but at the same time just as focused and still totally groovable!

BORGORE! DAMN DUDE!!!!! awesome awesome awesome. love moshin to dubstep. big ups!
keep your ears open for this guy cause he's def rising up!
Amphetamine Virus- of all the times I've seen him play this time even blew me away. Going straight in from Borgore this muthafucker brought out the heavy dark and dirty dubcore. I didnt know he was capable of doingwhat he did....but holy shit. nasty ass breakcore with HEAVY dubstep overtones.
I'm hitting u up for those tracks :)
everybody else!!!! the night was hella awesome. both rooms were in full effect!!
Bassist! you hella rock it! i'm so glad we did you and Ronin back to back! that was intense and hella good.
Demon!!!!! awesome tracks dude!! I was working the door during your set and LOVING every minute of it!
Status:Elevated crew!! first time hearing most of you and very good!! def gonna be working with u kids again!

Great event. How the hell do you get that many people to come out to a show that's essentially core oriented??
I was surprised by how young the crowd was. Part of me says, "get off my lawn and lose the glowsticks, you damn kids!" But mostly, I'm happy that the youngins are getting exposed to such a wide variety of music! It was hilarious to see kids grinding to Xano - fucking LOL!

and I think you forgot a shoutout to my man The Dirt Merchant! Homeboy rippped up the jungliest jungle of the night and absolutely murdered that second room.
Went home crawling out of a giant cave at the end but sometimes that's what happens! lulz.

That was super ultra mega dope skittles rad.
Im glad i made the trip down for it. You just dont get that kind of hard beats in seattle.
thank you to all involved, music was sick, lights and lasers were sick. from the pictures and this show from what i gather portland ussually does lasers differently, in seattle im used to one laser doing horizontal beams whereas portlan it seems to be many beams shooting out towards the crowd. Looking good keep up the good work guys.

Those lasers were kind of blinding. Having them point up would have been better. Still looked cool!

It was dope to finnaly check out 2410...IT obviousley tells you how long its been sense Ive been out...Overall I think its a perfect spot for Portland...Not to big not to small. The Bassist def killed shit...As well as Ronin...shitty about the tech difficulty. Everyone else was pretty good to from what I could tell. Nice too meet all the new peeps met. Ha you complain about the young kids, I would like to see you survive a seattle party at say motor or something lol. But anyway see yall soon..:)

Phenomenal party as usual from the roomies. ;)
My friend mr. saucy possum was surprised at the attendance of what is essentially a core party- and on the surface, I see the logic. On one side of the spectrum hardcore can be seen as a small super niche music that only crack heads are into.
However, (and thankfuly), Reactionary and crew don't really fall for that limited definition of 'coreness. Some of my more techno and house minded friends give me a hard time about my tolerance of the core genres, but I really think that you can look at the other end of the spectrum and can see that "'core" musics is one of the most experimental, expansive, and innovative genres in techno music PERIOD. IDM springs out of it, jungle springs out of it, old school techno came out of it and as Flashbulb and countless other IDM artists have shown its pretty easy to stick metal and even pop music into it. The tempo taken at normal temper is fast as hell and the kids just love it, yet take the half time of that tempo and instead of maddingly jumping up and down, slip into a hipnoticly slow groove to...every...other...beat... and then..you..start.. to.. wah wah wah womp womp.. find yourself in dubstep land. I think another one of the things that keeps the core music so interesting is that its such a fundamentally 'live' genre. ie; flashbulb, enduser, kid606, and our local hardcore heros the h8ers, and the others im forgetting (sorry kids), are all banging their shit out on live gear and it just makes it so much more interesting. refreshing.
flashbulb was really the highlight of my night at this party, and i had brought a date along for what was essentially her first rave- and i dont think we could of picked a better show to come to, again, especially seeing flashbulbs performance of combinging violin, guitar, and hardware in a really beautiful dissonant set. i closed my eyes more than once and just really lost myself into it.
the dubstep room was banging rocking as expected, but admittedly this night i was really digging the experimental happenings, and i was just so so pleased to see the party so packed.
Keep up the hardwork friends, its been a pleasure going from packing out renegade basements with you with half of a working turntable and a laptop, to seeing you pull off (consistently) these mega bass rave odysseys continually.
here's to more.

Oh.. it's also one of the most fun genres, with probably the least amount of snotty music dickheads.

DUDE... w0rd. i agree with your description of the versatility of the core, and it's awesome that more and more people are starting to acknowledge this fact too!
it's really great that john's vision for crew-combining-breakcore-massive-mega-events keeps getting realized in these very genre-bending and mind-blowing ways... live and experimental electronic-dub-breakcore gives me wood! hahaha :D
i enjoyed myself immensely at this show, even though i was working the door for the beginning part of the night. (lol @ mr.terror!) the vibe was very chill and fun for what was estimated by maria to be 450 people in attendance! way to go portland <3
def feeling the love today peoples :p
