View Full Version : [PDX]-[EUG] Looking for an outdoor venue/party site

I am helping a friend looking for a venue / party site for and outdoor party the 20th of july. It needs to have capacity for around 400-500 people. This is will be a benefit party for a couple that is getting married soon after. We would prefer to throw this on private property, somewhere between PDX and EUG would be good.
A place like where trinity festival was thrown would be perfect. We could use a place like where galactic tribes was thrown too with no problem - just getting permits would just add to the fun.

Just an idea,just came back from a party there last night but the place by dexter lake,where junto and Lizard King celebration was held.I think its a awesome site for a party anyways. :D

Yesh that is a very good site, outside of lowell. :D I went to my first outdoor there (exit planet earth) :D :) :D I will check about getting a permit and things there... :)

Thanks for the help! We are still looking but I am pretty sure that we will end up using a virgin location about an hour from PDX. Look out it is really pretty.

Yeah, use the Exit Planet Earth stop. That stop is dope, it was my first outdoor spot too :) If you saw a kid there with mud all over his white shirt...that was me. =D

Hey, If you need to rent a soundsystem for cheap, I'll rent you the Lizard King system for $200. --same system used in the second room at "Here comes the Sun", (LK 1 year)

Just a word State forestry permits SUCK! 60 Day advanced notice for an advertised or money taking party. But they are being nice and helpful about getting around that part.. teehee BTW federal pemits are soooo much easier to get 72 hours advanced notice is all required. NOT 60 F*&#ing days.
