Really surprised there's no review thread for last night (let alone one from the promoters, explaining what happened...) but yeah.... no Rusko. :(

Apparently the stories are something about him falling down some stairs, fucking up his leg, missing his flight etc etc.

So yeah, that was fucking lame. Hopefully whoever can make it happen (promoters or agency) makes up for this ASA-mf'n-P, or by the time he comes back all his *new* tunes will have been played to death. I was really looking forward to all his brand new stuff, whereas last time when he came, he played all the same ol tunes he had been rinsing since his Essential mix.

But the bright side of things was there was a packed house enjoying some great dubstep served up by the locals, and definitely a lot of good reviews of Sublo's set.

If you want an idea of what he had in store, he's a video of him playing Calgary a few weeks ago. This shows the different tracks he played through his set. It probably wouldve been very close to the same...except live. :(

I just hope the next time around there's still as much buzz. Things like this happen with headliners and it sucks for everyone. I'm sure next time, he will make it, and he will be more than ready to make it up for it with a killer set. *crosses fingers*

Ruskos flight didnt come in until 9pm. I was still at the airport until almost 11 looking for him and finally got word from him via text after he got out of the hospital. He fell down the stairs on the way to his flight and cut his leg wide open. Many stitches and bandages.

Would have liked to let people know sooner than midnight but unfortunately it was super last minute incident. A makeup date is already in the works.

Club was packed in all three rooms until past 2am. Most of the crowd stayed and kept rocking out after the news dropped. I had a great time with Dirty and Sublo. Those guys did a great job. Big up to the Shift massive.

Another free show very soon is in the works. Stay tuned!

His agent and him both said he CUT his leg and got STICHES.

Whoever is saying he broke is leg is way off. Some stiches in a leg does not stop one from DJing two days later in Portland, Edmonton or the North Pole.

Either way, they are sending us a hospital check in receipt and the gig is being rescheduled.
