For the last decade, ill-esha has been an integral part of the North American electronic scene. Beginning as a vocalist, she soon added MCing and DJing to her repertoire, creating a dynamic and unique live show which has headlined alongside artists such as Andy C, Klute, Dieselboy, Vibesquad, LTJ Bukem, Moving Fusion, Tipper, T-Power & De La Soul. She has performed in 42 cities across North America, Europe and Asia; in clubs, at festivals, and even on TV shows on MTV Canada and the CBC. In 2001 her first 12” single was released on New York label Breakbeat Science; since then ill-esha has worked steadily as a vocalist and producer on labels like BluSaphir and Outsider, and hitting the 1 singles download spot on Juno. One of the founding members of the premier online community GlitchHopForum.com, her remixes are hugely popular, popping up in DJ sets across the globe. Her release with Dewey dB on Muti Music, "H.A.A.R.P" spent two months in the Beatport Top 10 Electronica downloads; more ill-esha tunes can be found on Woofer Cookers and to-be-launched vinyl & digital label, True Score Theory. Her show is a fiery combination of original beats, glitch edits and live vocals - a unique experience not to be missed!

Splatinum
Seattle, Washington
daly City Records/ROCKIT Science
splatinum.com
Splatinum (previous Data Breaker subjects Andrew Luck and Dosadi operating under a new moniker) kick off their nine-track CD with "Robo Crunk Juice" (featuring Mochipet), which hints at the neon-hued, low-end high jinks to ensue. The duo busily apply warped frequencies to the highest and lowest sectors of the sound spectrum, while keeping things off-kilteredly funky and dramatically dynamic throughout. Their remix of Sleepy Eyes of Death's "Pierce the Air" appears here, all widescreen menace and skyscraper-chewing bass tones. Splatinum's music punches you squarely on the chin rather than inducing you to scratch it, and for that plus vaulting ambition, expect Splatinum to be playing a lot of big outdoor fests by next year.

Live Electro Space Funk
myspace.com/surrealized
The spaced out, electribed funk of Surrealized consist of Rob-Anonymous, Kimo Muraki, Felix, and Tim Reha. Coupling amazing visuals and sub bass frequencies, this quartet features some of the Pacific Northwest's most unique and innovative production. The debut CD is currently released through MySpace and is bridging the gap between the organics of live instrumentation and the robotics of the machine.

I make beats like america wages war. I level the vibes and then I settle the score. I bring a big fat bomb to any dance floor and if you like it when I do my thing then I'll give you more. I'll gout of my way to do the best that I can to bring the I-Grade music all across the land. I'm gonna big up the vibe, I'm gonna big up my tribe I said I'm here to remind ya all you have is your life. So whistle while you work and shake it with a smile, while I touch up on the mic with unbelievable style. HipHop is my first love, Reggae music is my wife. The glitchy Crunk and The Dubstep is like this thing on the side:) you could call me Billy Preston because Music is my life I'm here to leave my legacy like I was Michael. I'm a warrior, I'm a tonal vocal lyrical souljah, a beatboxing skateboarder.
