Seriously got to the party and almost instantly felt a vibe that happens in motor the way that motor does!! Ya know?? I had an awesome set with DJ MBM who is my new fav to tag with!! Thanks BERRY BERRY much to Mr MAT SUDA for being the man behind the scene with this!! The last song I played tonight was the Pennywise song Bro's Hymn!
I herd it the other day and said... OMG thats a dnb kick!! Everyone who was there was SCREAMING the words and it was really awesome!! The trippy part is... that song is about a friend to the band pennywise who died!! I came home from the party feeling ON TOP of the WORLD and that nothing could touch me... Then I found out a friend of mine that I played Tball with was shot in the head In IRAQ doing what I can still hear him say even so long ago, to SERVE his country! Im ending every set I play for 6 months to honor my friend Damien Ramey! Life really is precious and we here in the Seattle EDM community are blessed to have what we have and it really makes you stop and think that nothing is forever and to cherish what we have ALWAYS not matter what!!

AND COARSE let me raise a glass to the great and very absent James Tapia... GET YOURE ASS OUT SOON SON!!! Thanks to everyone tho seriously and God Bless!!

Been waiting to mix records with IanK for almost 8 years, probably closer to 10 if you count my early raver fanboy years. ^___^ SO much fun! I'm just sad that James missed it, as the performance not only was a first but was something special for him. No worries buddy, we can do it again anytime y0. <3 appreciate the opportunity and those that came out to support and those that work and continued on with the event in place of James. <3

So anyone who knows me knows I'm not a huge fan of dubstep. There's some dubstep that I like (DatsiK), but most of it just isn't my thing. Well, that was before I heard dubstep in a freeform hardcore track. Followed by a trance riff. Now THAT I like. No, LOVE!!! That's dubstep I can get behind! Maybe it was the tempo that did it for me, I'm not sure, but that was really great stuff. I am quickly becoming a bigger and bigger fan of freeform.

Anyway, both of them pretty much said anything I would have said, so just refer back to their posts for the rest of it. Of course special thanks to Bobby for making that happen for me. That was so much fun!! Also I was pretty stoked to see Kid KaBoom and Ian K, and watching them do 1's was pretty awesome, but that freeform was really the highlight for me. Great stuff!!

Great party!!! It was really nice to see so many people still rockin at 3am!! Like Soundwave said...one of the best tag-sets Ive had!! DEFINITELY need to do that again!!! LOTS of energy and a wide variety of tunes!! So rad to hear people singing along to that pennywise track!! PROPPER!!

i do have to agree the guy in the back should NOT be working for raves....he shows almost no one any respect and while he does do his job i think it could be done without the bully or rudeness aspect

is the guy in the back the big guy with the long black hair? if so i agree... he is always pushy whenever i'm at motor, i try my best to be out of the way of the walkway, but it seems like if you linger there for more than a few seconds he's on you and yelling.

turnout was slow but lots of room to dance! only thing i wish there'd been was more lighting on both stages, especially the side stage: there were the two light bars on the sides of the decks but lighting/SOMETHING above/behind the DJs to illuminate them would be nice for aesthetic's sake. my .02

anyway, I took (some) photos, had to take care of a friend and ended up missing a lot of the party. the photos will be up on my flickr @ www.flickr.com/photos/lesamoureux later in the week :)

there was a lot of effort from darrius/travis/tygon/etc to have this show go off the hook and my hats go off to all of you for making it as awesome as it was =D. Too bad my tag partner wasn't able to make it (brought nothing but energy lol), but still had fun playing and listening to some awesome music all night!
