when fucking Tito and Wheelz spun there had to be at least 5 or 6 times more people gettin down to hardstyle than were at the dubstep stage, like... hundreds, it honestly kinda looked like a seattle party for a while there. Fuckin' love it... hardstyle takin over!

It sucks that me and ty didn't get to spin... but whatever... shit happens... and that shit was bumpin so hard it took out the power to the entire block... maybe even more if I'm not mistaken? Fucking crazy.

Party was fucking amazing! Thanks to everyone that was dancin' and going crazy for my set. It looked like me hardcore got the crowd going for the Seattle invasion! I can't wait to see the pics of the show! Loved playing on that sound system again, used to play on them when I used to be in my hardcore/metal band years ago. The gabber kicks were INSANE on the system. I think it's fuckin' awesome that they were pounding so hard for Bills set that it killed the power lol! It was great to see all my Seattle homies, and all my PDX homies I haven't seen in awhile.

Keep up the great work guys! Can't wait to see what you guys have in store for us next! :)

The event was great! (Once I got in the door.)

My only gripe is how unorganized the line was. My friends and I got there at 10, and didn't get in until 11:30. I completely understand that this is because Sky Lights was cancelled, you guys weren't expecting to have so many people. Out of curiosity, what time did the venue hit capacity?

Once inside, I had an amazing time. I was a little worried that I would feel out of place at this event since dubstep was supposed to be the main attraction. It was a pleasant surprise that the hardstyle stage was the place to be.

I was jumping around all night and now have the best sore calves that money can buy. :)

Wow what a show. Steph and I had more fun at this than any show this year. Jelly Bean did a awsome job with their very first big show. They were very professional and we will gladly shoot beams for them again. This was our first time doing lasers for two stages. Hope everyone like them. The building is a bitch to fog but overall at least the first third of the beams were bright.

Man that sound was so nice. Too bad it's so expensive so I dought will see it again. OK I sometimes give hard style shit but I have to hand it to them that it was my favorte room.

Most definitely the best party I've ever been to at On Air and one of the best this year in my opinion. The sound was AWESOME! I heard they got complaints from across the river hahahaha. Big thanks to whoever helped move those cars. What kind of idiots park on train tracks though?

Vibe was thick all night (my friend returned two sets of car keys to the front before midnight lol) even though it took a little bit to get started because of the line out front.
Vaski was crushing my knees for real. Couldn't help but jump in the air and throw my arms around like a mad man! Way to go dude, I havn't got into a set that hard for a while!! Much respect!

Hardstyle stage was OFF THE HOOK! I had just got done manning the bouncy castle and wondered into the room when I heard one of my favorite hardstyle tracks and found myself shuffling around the floor with what seemed like a thousand other ravers before I even knew what hit me! Sucks that the last set didnt get to go down. Was syked for Rex's set! Next time bro!

Nu Disko was sick too. Was totally loving it when James played that song from the Nu Disko promo (involving Cold Blank I think). Firewalker and I had just been jamming out to it before we headed to the venue. Great tune!

Super thanks to everyone who helped make this happen. From the Dj's to security to the folks setting up, everyone did a good job. Can't wait for the next one.

This party has certainly outdone anything I've seen this year. it sucks the line was such a bitch for most people. The security is honestly very slow and stubborn so any chance the line was going to move anywhere near quickly was far out of reach. In addition to the slow door checks the security was very difficult to everyone.. even people running the show. Even with a staff badge and band it was hard to get around as far as i saw. I'm glad jelly bean is going to be looking for a more rave friendly security company.
Jellybean did an amazing job putting this event together. the venue was well laid out and i am glad to see a variety of vendors, of which i think should have more presence at a rave. the sound was honestly too much. don't get me wrong, it was fuckin awesome.. i'm just sayin that those speakers are meant for concerts and shit. EDM hurts through those speakers. The dubstep was viscous and the hardstyle was kickin, i was bouncing from stage to stage to ciggarette all night. our visual expert at top notch did a bangin job with the lasers, i just wish there could have been a screen for the lasers on the second stage. Renegade, Rustik... you mothafuckers blow my mind time and time again.. your Nudisco movement is totally fucking awesome and i can't wait to see where it goes. I'm gonna be behind it the whole time. There were some excellent vibes and some even better dancers. thank you to everyone who threw it down with me throughout the night. Juicy is gonna be a party that goes down in history.. i can't wait for next year.. despite the problems with electricity and parking, all the issues were handled with some awesome and funny responses. there wasn't much stress about it and everyone went back to the floor and made it happen. Good job Portland for destroying the city block!

With the set me and Ty were about to throw for 2 more fucking hours...
Maybe the power shutting off was sign from Jebis that some people were about to get killed by hardstyle...

So I'm not too worried about it, plus I still got paid to rave all night and see my favorite DJ, so win win for me!

This was my first out of state party, and I gotta say...FUCK YEAH!!!

Big ups to the promoter of this party. The guy seemed pretty young (probably younger than me at least) but he totally had his shit together and was really professional and straight forward. I dig that!

The sound was INSANE!!! Much louder than most of the stuff we have up here, but damn am I ever glad I brought ear plugs haha.

The lazers were pretty sick too.

Also...SEATTLE INVASION FTW! I came down with Tigon and stayed at a friends house, but we rolled down from seattle with 2 cars full of people, then of course all the Seattle DJ's...THEN on top of that, I saw a bunch of local ravers down there! It was almost like home hahaha.

I didn't spend much time in the main room, as i spent 99% of the time on stage with the Smokeshack crew. Shank, dude that was my first time hearing your set, but YEAHHHHH for some fucking GABBER and Hardcore man!!

Myk, bummer they kept having to turn down your music to get people to move cars, but what you did get to play was fucking dope. Tito, dude...what can I say? You're the shit haha.

Wheelz, ALWAYS a guranteed floor killer right there. If you've never seen him spin until last night, you now know why he is a local legend, and a sick ass dj. He was rocking that shit so hard that the circuit breaker blew!! Then, after the room cleared (since there was no music) and as SOON as he was playing again, there was literally a LINE of people filing back into the second room just to get down to that sick ass hardstyle. Fuck yeah man.

Ian, what can I say that hasn't been said a million times before mate? You ALWAYS bring it. Massive stage presence, dope tracks, and just always manage to destroy the kids, no matter what city you're in. Good to see you man!

Regardless, dope lasers, thanks to James, I found myself appreciating those a lot more Saturday night than I normally do, so I gotta tell you how tight it was. Ian K dropped a sickkk set, so did Shankedge. I didn't know that more than like, three people plus myself could actually shuffle in Portland. Haha. Glad to see myself proven wrong.

I feel like I needed to use the "FORCE" when I playing because I couldnt see the LIL lines on the mixer, but everyone was jamming so I could harness my Jedi strength!! Ill ever go ahead and say that LOTS of security was D BAGGIN it up and some of the security guards you could just tell they got off on trying to push people around. The guy who was at the other BIG door no one was allowed out tho was really cool and worked with us so we could get some things done so THANKS TO HIM!!

Also as alot of people know I try to improve on every laser show I do so please send me a p.m. if you have any sugestions on how to improve. Scrim for the secound stage is a go for next time around. Plus I'm going try to install an on/off switch for the DJ's to use doing there set when the music is to fast for me to go live. Man the sound active mode on my new laser saved me in that room.

This party was awesome!

The vibe was great all night, i met so many new awesome people! The only bad vibe i got was from the security. Glad to hear that Jellybean will be finding nicer security. I am a diabetic and they were so rude when checking my diabetic supplies, were so slow, and the guy on fence patrol was a total asshole.

Other than that, this party went down. From Rustik & Renegade blowing out the power to the block plus bridge is how its supposed to be done!
haha and the group of guys that moved the cars so the party didn't have to be shut down, now that was cool to have everyone just come together and fix the issue quickly.

VASKI's set was INCREDIBLE! I stayed in the dubstep room for his entire set, danced with cool people, getting awesome personal light shows, and just getting down to his off the hook beats. Kept me wobbling from 1-2:30 hell yeah MAD LOVE TO VASKI!

Jellybean---fucking KICK ASS job with your first big party, i can't wait for the next!

Kinda bummed i didn't get to hear the nu-disco kids cuz i was at the dubstep stage alllllll night. And i still haven't got to see graduation boy play due to the power outage. Other then that the vibe was killer and VASKI HOLY SHIT that was incredible. Never heard such ill beats. All the seattle DJ's especially myk and wheelz fucking killed it aswell.

Overall great night. This was one for the books.


P.S. The bouncy castle was sick as fuck i probably went through it four or five times :)

The only thing i was a little disappointed about was I only seen a few not even a handfull of the old schoolers. It was also great to see Seattle kids pouring in to Portland for a party for once. Usually its the other way around. Maybe this is a sign of good things to come in Portland???? Big thanks to JellyBean for this show, I had an incredible time at Juicy, and so did the rest of my family. The Bouncy castle was an awesome addition and a great bit of recreation to enjoy. When I wanted a cigarette and didn't have one, guess where I went? The bouncy castle. I found it a little odd that people were eating sub sandwiches in there at one point, but I won't jock on their swagger.
I was super shocked to see so much love in front of the hardstyle stage, it caught me off guard and I was happy to see it go down for sure! I'm not sure what two artists spun "Sleep With One Eye Open (Tek One Remix)" on the dubstep stage, but both times that song killed me! Ha ha! Fer' def' loving the nasty dubstep.
It was an awesome atmosphere, and I honestly felt like the entire Portland rave scene was on site that night. It totally made my TWO HOUR wait in line acceptable.
To the security, spend less time working at the on air, and more time on a treadmill plz.
I went there with about 8 lbs of misc. candy and juice all in sealed containers. They expected me to throw away all the candy I was giving away. Thank god my homie got it inside, otherwise you people would have missed out on 5 lbs. of free Twizzlerz. Lol.
Big Props again to JellyBean, Top Notch, and the sound crew. All of you DJ's brought it hard that night, and I love you for it. Sorry to grad Boy and Zym for not being able to play, I know you would have killed it. And remember Zym, I'm getting those vinyls.
To conclude, I know where I'm going to be May 1st next year! Juicy 2 'yo!!

My first time through the bouncy castle was a blast, I was making an attempt at climbing the ladder, but a couple of people below were jumping up and down, making the wall bounce and warp. I must have fell down three times before I even made it, and I felt like I was clinging to that wall for dear life. I had a remarkable time and I again thank everyone who went there with such a positive attitude.
Juicy 2 though? For real, just get 4 bouncy castles and loop them. Lol.
Imagine going down the slide and instead of exiting, being confronted by yet another set of obstacles XD
Jellybean made a great impression on the community, but they should be aware that they set the bar high, and people are going to keep those high expectations. I really hope you can rise to meet them every time.
