I been a proud supporter of Kevin Energy for 10+ years now. I think hardcore fever was my first vinyl I bought.

Kid Kaboom and Dummy are the two djs around here that play lots of his material.

Kid Kaboom..i've heard of him. I think he's gonna be at one of the parties i'm going to coming up pretty soon.

He has been around for a while. His sets lately have been focused on freeform. Nice to hear people still getting into freeform around here.

He has just recently been getting back into the studio and I for one am quite excited to see what is coming. I use to dabble in 'Hard Dance' so Freeform is a prefect fit for me, as it incorporates what I love about Hardcore with what I love about slower Hard Dance genres. Currently I'm really into the BBHC sound. BBHC is taking off again in a big way and personally I'd say I'm as passionate about it as Freeform. I have more fun making breakbeats then anything else at the moment. Both genres offer different things I like plus I'll throw in some DnB for good measure. ^_^

but yeah, Freaky Phases is one of my favorite KE tracks... timeless Freeform imo.

His hard dance is what got me into hard dance years ago. Since then, the new hard dance has pushed me out, but I'll always have a love for his old hard dance mixes. Hard Transin is the greatest hard dance mix series ever made :)

Kevin Energy did influence the way I mix. His set at Hullabaloo was one of the most memorable ones from that party series.
