yuuup

how can you only have yes or yes? there has to be a yang in this equation or else its just one-sided :(

the answer is no
and 3 options are needed for a proper poll here

I like one of them substantially more than the other for a multitude of reasons that I shall not disclose this day for personal reasons partaining to the preservation of endangered species in equatorial regions across Delaware

the majority likes a heavily filtered / rough sounding bass drum pounding away at their soul while progressing to some sort of symphonic / dark sounding melody followed by someone saying the word 'bass' very enthusiastically right before the bass shit starts up again.

equatorial ragions across Delaware

Do you speak with an accent too or just type with one?

Sup Aqua!

Between just those to: I would have to say Hardstyle, though I admit I'm not really exposed to much Jumpstyle at all.
Hardstyle is more heavier, more fierce, has more attitude, and is cooler I'd say.
Fun to dance and bounce to. And some fist pumpin in the mix, naturally.

and if you want to get into the hard shit check out spanish jumpstyle, it's called newstyle and it's kinda like chicago hard house from the late 90's early 00's UC type of stuff except for faster and made on modern computers and stuff. i have a bunch of it on vinyl. i sold all of my jumpstyle records to kabiyo last year. he plays the good shit. pretty much the only guy in town that plays it

Ahh, the Mexican hand-clap, pogo house; that shit still flies down here in Mexas. Though you tend to hear it more with the hardstyle synths and production style.
BTW, that specific sound you're referring to was called 'Traxx' back then; almost seems sad to call it hard house, given the negative connotation the UK twats gave to that moniker.

imo that Rons Beat track is crap
the others are ok for what they are

though if i wanted to listen to hard house, id just grab some bam bam or irene

anything to help! i loooooooooooooooooove spainish newstyle. i want to replace the vinyl tracks that i have with the mp3 version of them and make a mix soon. i have a bunch of it and really enjoy it and would be more inclined to play it out if it's on mp3 rather than vinyl as the vinyl was rather expensive

While I am one of the most diverse eclectics in the scene, u gotta understand if your talking about drum & bass, there is no difference between the two.. "Jump Up", Is HardStyle d&b....

Take a listen for yourself bro:

Let me know what you think.... Full mix won't be released till some time later this year..

Still not getting where anyone in here thinks there is a difference?? I'm not one to deny separation of music, but at the same time, you have to understand that Jump Up is "Hard Style" Drum & Bass. "Hard Style" is Jump up and the two go hand in hand.... Sorry mate, question / topic should have been "Do you like it hard, or harder"...!

Cheers!

now honestly I will say I like jumpstyle music but i really love hardstyle so what did I do i decided that it really does not matter because i listen to them to dance to not to just casually sit and read a book listening to heart throbbin beats if i wanted to do that i would listen to something like trance or possibly dubstep if it's not super grimy and has some soft parts so there you have it my opinion and hardstyle and jumpstyle is not garbage it depends on how you like to move yourself to the music or how your brain interprets the sound from the subtle psy trance to the riveting fidget or the hammering of hardstyle just take your flames and put them out this thread is meant for discussion not ranting so go and take a chill pill and enjoy whatever music you like.

2 TALL"this thread is meant for discussion not ranting" who are you to come on here and tell board members what they can and cannot say like fascist censorship as if this is tribe dot net and not a board where people are allowed to discuss whatever the fuck they want like just because I like to suck dicks doesn't mean that people can't come on to this board and talk about how much they love sucking pussy right so if you are truly secure in your love of the music that you love then why the fuck does it matter if someone wants to crack a joke about that music that you love
