Shock Bukara are an enigmatic four piece band that combine elements of Underworld-styled electronic music, seminal Eighties influences, and the subtle, textured nuances of the early Nineties shoegazers on Creation and 4AD. The band's second album, - +, is a hard one to categorize as it slithers between goth ("- +), indie pop ("Touching Love"), peak hour dance floor fillers ("Let Go"), and even aquacrunk ("In The Rhythm"). Superb vocal performances from Juan Pablo Corcuera, Alex Saat, Uriel Vallalobos,Teri Gender Bender, and Bryce Kushnier add atmosphere and depth to the creative new ground this album explores giving it all the makings of a true underground classic.
