HOTwired brings some of the best dj’s and musicians in the North West and beyond to team up and collaborate in unexpected and unusual ways. Performance groups, visuals, artists, and musicians combine to create a unique club night with quality underground music that defies the usual style and genre stereotypes.
This month we are excited to be changing the tempo and breaking the beat. Osiris Indriya and Rob Noble will play their first true 2X4 set of Drum and Bass together. This set, first imagined at a semi-secret annual outdoor has been some 6 months in the works and we are excited for the change of pace. Also on deck is another HOTwired first as Mauricio Zuniga (PDX) joins us for one of his amazing genre bending sets. Mauricio has been a long time friend of the HOTwired crew and a very young Amanita got some of his first psychedelic music from his fantastic record store "Chaos Existence" way back in the late 1990's. We are excited to host his unique brand of Tek Funk, Glitch hop, Breaks, Dubstep and Drum and Bass. Fall is here, time to gather indoors and stay warm together!
WARNING ~ Afterhours is like one of those mystery bags of candy/toys where you don't know what you get until you open it. Will it be tech house, psytrance, deep psychedelic techno, polka, or old skool Amish breadstep? Anything is possible.
