AKSION (D&B Tuesdays/Simplify/Friends With Benefits)
Christopher Moist aka Aksion (pronounced 'action') always listened to ALL genres of music, especially anything that's funky. Aksion was an MC from 1995-2000 in Las Vegas & Seattle. From 2000-2003, Aksion developed as a house party dj going from strength to strength playing: hip-hop, funk, house, techno, breaks, hard house, nrg and goa. It was Aphrodite's "Urban Jungle" that changed his life though. In this mix, Aksion heard all the things that he liked best in music. From that he became a true Junglist.
Aksion is known for throwing down high energy, fun sets that cover the full spectrum of drum 'n bass, and more recently dubstep. Since 2005, he has opened for the likes of: DJ Hype, Bassline Smith, Mampi Swift, Marky, Calyx, Teebee, Goldie, Photek, Dieselboy, Fresh, AK1200, Enduser, Submerged, KJ Sawka, Reid Speed, NType, Danny Byrd, 12th Planet & SPL. Aksion is also a resident on www.c895worldwide.com/89.5 FM's The Vortex.
He now runs Drum And Bass Tuesdays alongside Demo which is going on 12 years running. He is also starting a new monthly at Republiq featuring the artists of both Simplify Recordings and Simplify Agency. Aksion is also now teaming up with NAF promoters Equality in throwing a new generation of raves for the 21+ scene under the combined crews' name: Friends With Benefits.

THE BASSIST (Hollow Point/Stupid Fly/Terminal Dusk)
The Bassist is no stranger to the US Northwest broken beats community. He has been spinning records since 98 and has had the opportunity to play on many international dancefloors. Relocated to Portland, OR in 2003 after being part of the "Essential Drum & Bass" crew in Barcelona,Spain. He then started "Madkraft" in 2004, a drum n' bass project alongside Invid and Mecca. In 2007 he began a transition towards Dubstep and since then this genre has become his passion. His first Dubstep release came out in 2007 on Aleutian Audio and stayed in Digital Tunes' top 10 for a couple weeks. Currently, he is busy producing beats for labels such as Hollow Point, Terminal Dusk, Requiem Audio, Simplify and Rogue Dubs.
