Michael Manahan is an essential and vital element of the Left Coast electronic music community; he nourishes the underground not only with his deep and phat-funky tribal oriented tech house sets but also with his immense contributions to the exploration of consciousness and spiritual evolution through art and music. This DJ, performer, producer, and space cowboy is also the co-founder of the Oracle Gatherings, the co-producer of the Decibel Festival, as well as the co-producer of the electronic music stage at Hempfest, the world's largest reform protest. Also the owner of Starborne Productions, Manahan is an innovator and a leader of the Seattle dance community and tribal culture; a mainstay in the scene whose presence always ups the love whether he is spinning dubby house, hard techno, glitch-ridden breaks, spacey down-tempo, or just hanging out being himself.

Phidelity
(Native States, Starborne)

http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g170/montsdem/Kris.jpg

Phidelity, a.k.a. Kris Northern lays down Portland's most twisted and bass-ridden hybrid live sets of psychedelic future funk breaks, and you would not be surprised to see a party of robots getting down on his dance floor. A master of the science of slicing and dicing, Phidelity's tech funk is loaded up with tons of real-time effects, creating an experience that uses the science of sound creation. Hailing from Portland and representing Native State Records, his dub-laced sticky bass is overlaid with plenty of clean green grit and the moving goodness of his world is imposed on all who listen and dance- robots included.

-XX-
(Current)
http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g170/montsdem/brook2.jpg

Brook aka –xx- is by far one of the best kept secrets in the Pacific Northwest when it comes to Electronic Dance Music… Rocking the decks for years he is a true master of his craft. Brook started DJing in Ashland Oregon years ago, and has continually been rocking dance floors ever since. Brook’s style is described as bass driven, heady, and minimal and he knows how to drive a dance floor to the max, or take over people hearts and souls. Brook presently hosts the show “Current” in Portland. –XX- is one of those DJ’s that plays for the love of music and the dance. Portland we are lucky to get this guy out on the decks to rock it for us…

Michael Gabriel
(Ping Pong, Technoca, AfterDark)

http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g170/montsdem/Micheal-2.jpg

Michael's love of music began at a young age, learning to play piano as well as excelling at other instruments. Throughout the 90's Michael played and toured with several rock bands until stumbling upon electronic music in 2000. "It was like nothing I had ever heard or felt before. I was floored." Michael quickly began learning to Dj and produce this incredible new music. Moving to San Francisco in 2003, he studied and learned from some of the best. Warming up the floor for Justin Martin, Swirl People, JT Donaldson, Style of Eye, Lance Desardi and Mike Grant, as well as holding residencies at Paradise Lounge(SF), Butter(SF), Pala(PDX) and now at Portland's infamous After Dark. Michael's crowd pleasing sets of tech and electro house kept crowds dancing deep into the night. After several solid releases and remixes on Mimosa recordings, Michael now heads up Ping Pong records and has teamed up with Technoca to continue to perfect his signature tech sound.

MontsDe
(Technoca)

MontsDe's sets range depending on the vibe and mood and can play anything from House, to techno, to breaks, to ambient, to Glitch, but he does tend to focus more on heady four four beats..... MontsDe has developed a reputation for playing extremely dirty tech house and techno tracks.

Just take it easy ok man. I happen to be a whiskey frequenter myself so I can understand the initial shock reaction and perhaps repugnance. But you need to diversify a little. Its really not that big a deal, either works fine actually. Different vehicles, same destination ultimately. I was trying to avoid condoning whiskey on the count of when combine with the sweet milk o' the breasteses the fermentation is accelerated and makes for potency boost and a wicked hangover. Especially if the milk source has consumed garlic within 24 hours of lactating. And if you've ever been within a 10 foot radius of BSM than you know he consumes alot of garlic. Also egg nog is seasonally appropriate and I recommend kahlua as well. Don't knock it til ya try it!
