hmm...
nevermind. tt-1s became tt-2s. same thing. just numark changed the number on them. so, no they are not rare.
and they retailed new for $299 at guitar center...
so...no...damn it, and i wanted them too. but i can get the same set up for $500.
good luck!

well i dont kno where you got 299 from at guitar center? i was just there this past weekend and the tt-2s were 399..or so..but have you spun on the tt-2's i think you would find that the tt-1's are much better, dont believe me, try for yourself...tt-1s are now a rare commodity
Sorry, but I have to call bullshit....
TT-1's are far from rare, and I paid $299 at guitar center for mine. Most places you can find the TT-2's for ~$329. The TT-2's are a better table anyhow, they've fixed the feedback problem that was common in the 1's and added more damping to the platter as well as a couple other features...I wouldn't expect to get $375 each out of them if I were you, but if you can find some chump to pay that much, more power to you.

good luck gettine $375. i can get the tt-2s for $300.00. the tt1s had a flutter problem so the tt2 came out to fix it and the tt2s have a all metal tone arm and a button that makes the platter go +-20 instead of just +-10

Ok, I just had to post this because I've been doing a lot of shopping around for Numark TT-1's, and I stumbled across a pretty nice site. Check it out, TT-1's for $269 (without carts)!!
http://www.123dj.com/turntable/numark/PROTT-1.html
Here's the link for the rest of their turntables:

They've got a LOT, and good prices too!

The ppl are right to bag on you.. the tt-2s' ARE better (saying otherwise is false advertisment).. they are NOT hard to find.. and even IF tt-2s were 400 (which they aren't, not anymore at least) then selling yer used tt-1s for 375 is a rip off! Lying is way not cool (?)...
And I know that you want to make yer money back or whatever (you really don't NEED 1200s, no matter what some ppl say) but in reality, you NEVER make yer money back on DJ equipment (or any other musical eq for that matter).
Just some advice if yer gonna post here again : do some research and don't play ppl here for suckas. Sucka.
