Im gonna try and find out...so we dont have a repeat of IMPULSE< where some kids couldn't get in because they didnt bring I.D. I dont know if everyone realized, however, that the cops were allowing anyone 16 and up in, even though the law says 18. The thing was you had to prove you were at least 16, and the only valid i.d. is a state issued photo id or drivers license. With all the news publicity raves have been getting lately, i wouldnt be surprised if cops start i.d.ing at more parties, so be safe rather than sorry and just always bring an I.d., especially if your 16 or 17. ever since washington state imposed the teen dance ordinance like 6 years ago, all raves are suppossed to be 18 and up. It just isnt always enforced. The city will go months without doing anything and then all of a sudden they want the cops to check i.ds. but the cops are usually pretty cool about letting in anyone over 15. just make sure you always bring a state issued id or drivers license, because you never know...I dont think they will check ids at this party, just bring one to be safe.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel ripped off when you purchase a presale *because* of the talent and the fact that a party will be a new space...

...and then the party winds up at, say, FX?

well, i sure feel ripped off. This party was suppossed to be at the sand point location. we had an agreement with them, that as long as surfire went ok, Invasion II would be fine. then they told us yesterday that the city says we cant use the space. Obviously theres some politics coming into this, because we found out that the decision was made three weeks ago. Im just as dissapointed about the space falling through. I do think however, that most people bought tickets because of the music/dj lineup, not because of the location. this party is still going to go off, its just too bad that seattles laws, ordinances, etc. make it so difficult for promoters to use new venues. System 6 will be throwing a free party on June 10, along with Dynamo One and Hard Drives, and would like to thank everyone who has been cool and supportive .

Hello. I had hella fun at Invasion2. But I'm still wondering what happened to the new space??? I noticed that FX wasn't that crowded. Did they use it because the ticket sales weren't enough to support the new space?? Also if anyone went to Keoki could you tell me if that was fun or not. ?? thanks.

I haven't gone to many parties as of late. So, it was a rare occasion that I decided to go to Invasion2... I even bought presale tickets. On Saturday night, when I realized that the party was at F/x, I have to admit I was more than a bit dissappointed. Of course, I decided to go because I had already bought tickets. To my pleasant surprise I had a great time! I hadn't been to F/x for a long while (since Christmas) and the last two times I was there was horrible. I really like how the place was remodeled. I appreciate the higher security, better lighting and how they tore down those booths. The only other suggestion I would make is to provide a lot of really big trash cans around the whole place. (I tried to throw my gum out in a trashcan, but couldn't find one.) Naha, you did a great job with the line-up! Thanks for a good party! Satin
