ok so everytime i post a fucking thing in OT everyone gets pissed so I go somewhere else and try to ask it there and get responses calling me a bitch. What the fuck? I thought I was allowed to ask questions but instead I get power-tripped people reaming me for being my self and asking questions. Perhaps another board is best, but if you look at the OT guidlines you'll find that it actually is for posts that don't seem to belong anywhere else, but not necessarily "Who likes Sponge Bob Square Pants?!!!" and such. *i'm going from what i've read based on guidlines, so don't hold me to it!* One of the major things that has recently impacted the board-behavior is the sudden population growth that occurred around the end of 2000, and hasn't quite stopped. Many old-school memebers (myself not included, due to the fact that i am not an old-shooler) are bitter towards the flush of insta-raver e-tards that have joined. Not all of the new kids fall under this genre, but let's face it, there are a few who do/did.
It's also my understanding that the board does not have unlimited space, and pointless, trivial, topics are just using that space. The fact that many people do not go back and delete their topics doesn't help this, and many are locked (making it impossible to delete them). SO depending on what you were posting, and how serious or relevent it was, i can't really say wether the bithcing was justified or not. Nor do i wish to choose sides. I'm sorry that you didn't find what you were looking for here, and better luck in the future.
