This is probably a long shot, but does anyone know of a location (warehouse or other) I could rent for a Halloween party on the 30th? I have access to a warehouse in Everett, but after two years of Halloween parties there it's time for me to move the party south and bring the crowd up to an even MORE respectable level. I mean, no one really wants to drive all the way up there.
So, any leads would be very helpful...and get you in the door for free!

i personally would be happy to go to
everett for an event. there are quite
a few advantages of throwing an event
that's far from the city..
- don't have to deal with the teen
dance ordinance
- people who go will REALLY want to be
there and it will improve the event
- new spaces kick ass
etc
sorry, i don't have any spaces to
recommend...

i agree with kim on that one. i would rather drive a little farther and go to a party that doesn;t have as many people just looking for some way to celebrate halloween who are bringing mischief and bad vibes to a party. But the line up WOULD have to catch my eye. As long as it looks apealing i would definatally find a carload of people or two to go up there for it . peace

Everett is not that far any way. I know people that drive from Spokane and Moscow, Id to events in Seattle, so whats the big fuss over driving to Everett? No problem!!! :P
Peace.

yup, i've driven over 14 hrs to go to events before...
anyway, i know some people who live in everett and go to events who'd *love*
not having to drive as far!
plus the canadian folk wouldn't have
as far to go...

Hmmm...let me clarify a bit. I'm not throwing a rave. I just thought you guys might be a good resource. I'm throwing a party for all my friends. I...uh...sorta have a lot of friends. So, I'm lookin' for a warehouse that's further south near Seattle or the eastside where all my friends live. I'm not throwing a giant rave where I want a bajillion people that I don't know from Canada and Idaho to drive over to. Sorry 'bout that. This is an invite only thing, but I'm very flexible so if someone has a warehouse for me, I'll invite you and your friends.

warehouses on the eastside? *raised eyebrow* good luck there! i don't think there's a single empty building of that sort on the eastside, and even if there was, trying to rent it for an event with even moderately loud music would not be an easy task...

Question, if you only throw parties there once a year, whats the problem? Even if its more than once a year be grateful that you have a location, In sf getting a local is soooo hard besides the 4 that we have and there are parties there every weekend, and they proove thats its not the location that makes most parties, its the decore and people.
