One More Reason To Fear Naf

My little brother Scott had a semi-automatic machine gun pulled on him and his friend as they left Naf Studios on Saturday night...around 3 AM. Two dark skinned- heavy set males approached my brother...showed there gun and demanded their wallets and $$. Neither my brother or his friend had their wallets on them...but they did get robbed for all the $$ that was on them...about $50. This happened right before the first access road to the South of Naf. Luckily no one was injured....but who knows what will happen next time...peolpe please be aware of your surroundings while in that suurounding neighborhood around Naf.

another thing though.... the cops... oh yeah they can patrol up and down the street looking for ppl dealing drugs before the party but can they stick around to ensure the safty of ppl attending the event NOOOooOOO.... wtf. this is an absolutely absurd thing to say. of course it matters that they were black! just as it would have mattered if they were white or mexican or asian. it is the description of the people who did this and evedryone should know who to watch out for. i personally have a lot of feelings on this issue, and just to let you know no one forced these two black guys to do this, they did it on their own, if there is ANY kind of steryotype going on here it is one that those two guys created for themselves. no one else did it for them.

1st- dark skinned doesn't equal black!!! Don't be a generalist/racist here! Dark skinned can cover many ethnicities. And being that it was 3am, dark skinned may be the best they could tell, its not like they were having tea so they could get a good description of them, think about it!
2nd- You are making the implications that you think black people are shady and you don't want people to talk about it. Sorry, you know a lot of black people ARE shady. Frankly, I know a lot of black people too, many of whom are close friends, but half of them are shady as fuck! I can admit it cuz I know its often true. True, not all are shady, but fuck, too many are. It's a fact in seattle, and a lot of other large cities, you can't deny it. Most black peeps i know are gang related and would jack me or my friends if they could get $200 out of it, good friends huh? So don't go there, cuz its not a perfect world.

First of all I'm sorry about your little bro.

Second of all, I remember almost 3 years ago when my mom told me that she didnt want me going to parties because there were people there doing drugs. So I told her that people are going to be doing drugs anywhere you go. I had 3 friends in high school that would take acid before class on a regular basis. And I had some friends that would always get high/drunk before the football games. Therfore- there are people at school doing drugs, so do you want me to stop cheerleading now? Or like how she said (when I was 15) that she didnt want me going over to seattle with my friends because it was dangerous or whatever. But there are school shootings constantly, and my high school would get several bomb threats a year. But you never seen her pull me out of school.

So I think what happened had little to do with Naf, and more to do with 2 kids walking around at night with no protection. It could have happened anywhere. But in no way shape or form an I defending those guys. But theres no way in hell that I would walk down Marginal Way with 5, let alone 1, of my friends at night.

Well...this post was intended to inform people of the shady things that go on around Naf. I agree with all of you who say that this type of thing can happen anywhere and at anytime(just not limited to Naf Studios). However, since many people who frequent this board attend Naf, I feel that posting about the incident will open people's eyes as to the dangers that are out there...everywhere.
