What CLUB/RAVE/PARTY WOULD YOU GO TO???

yo! The whole Twilo closing thing got me thinkin about all the clubs/partys I would go to if given the opportunity....

my choices would prob. be:

1. GATECRASHER-Sheffield, England. The graceland of big international clubs...has resident DJ's such as Tiesto, Tall Paul, Judge Jules, etc....has unlimited draw for almost any genre of techno....

2. INNERCITY-One of Europe's biggest yearly parties...the world's biggest indoor party, usually trance/hard-house based.....Bangin hard beyond belief

3. TRANCE ENERGY-Draws the best of Europe's top trance acts...a favorite of many many DJ's and partiers.

4. LOVE PARADE-The world's biggest party. Tours throughout Europe, drawing hundreds of thousands of people.

5. IBIZA-A culture essentially oriented around electronic dance music. A euphoric island atmosphere that could be called Heaven on Earth.

6. TWILO-The Gatecrasher of the States. Would have a BLAST if I ever got the chance to go.

Ive been to 2 on your list, Twilo (i live there), Gatecrasher. Twilo sucks in general. Good music, fantastic soundsystem, but you have 4 inches of space to dance in. 50% of the men there are shirtless muscle bound idiots. No vibe whatsoever at Twilo. Gatecrasher on the other hand, was fucking unbelievable. I caught Sasha and Digweed with some other djs spinning hard ass breaks.
I always thought they were trance only til then.
I want to go to Love Parade the most.
German trance is ill, and its the biggest partie in the world.

NASA in new york city 92-93 sounded cool... as well as the brooklyn outlaw parties hrown by STORMrave.

The full moon parties thrown by the wicked crew in the early 90s san fran. And a lot of the other shit going on around the time there.

I wished that I went to the Pheonix Festival, and Earthdance 98 in seattle also...

Btw... I also went to Twilo three times, and i have to agree with jungle warfare... it WASN'T that cool. A lot of what we call "guidos" in ny, and eurotrash. Not many good vibes, and lot's of ugly people that think they look hot, but beter hope nobody truns on the lights. Nice sound though, but the music tended to be rather bland everytime i went.

Uhm, the love parade pulls a crowd with more than a million people and increasing every year. I'm sure you wouldn't be the only straight person there. Thanks for clarifying your sexuality though, we're all happy to hear that you munch the muff!

I went to Germany.....a little festival called..hmmmmmm....I forget the name....there were like 10 million people there...OH YEAH..THE LOVE PARADE!! I am thinking about going again this year...July 21...man, talk a dope ass party, dope people...the whole city becoming one big party..hmmmmm...I would love to go to Ibiza, too.

Pretty much any European party.....they are the epidimy(sp?) of techno IMHO, and also the club scene over there is locked down....they KNOW how to set up a venue/club....

FYI for Everyone concerning the Love Parade......

As of a month ago it was cancelled!!!!!

No permits were granted do to the fact that a group protesting the Love Parade got theirs in first.

I checked this out a couple of weeks ago, so things could have changed.

solipse 2001- in Zambia for the total solar eclipse. i went to the one in hungary in 99, it was unbelievable. there is also a total eclipse party in madagascar this year, i think that they are both in june. boom! 2000 in portugal and morocco 2001 would have been nice, also mara'akame.

Well I went to Love Parade in 98 1.5 million people, and it doubles every year. It was amazing!

I went to Twilo too-GREAT music, hot as fuck and no dance space.

I would go to Ibizaif I could. I even checked on tickets yesterday- but the cheapest flight at any time on any airline was $997. So it will be awhile.... *sigh* If money is no option for you I'd go there....
