I have an idea......but I need some help

Beatfreak Productions is looking forward into the summer and will be having a free outdoor party. The only trouble is when you have a free party, everything has to come out of the promoters pocket.

But on the other hand, the portland scene is known for it's willingness to expand, and its way of helping each other out. So here is what I am proposing to you.

I am going to throw a medium size outdoor, and also bring a few new Dj's to the scene. Some new and some fairly new. But definately damn good!

But I need your help. If anybody is interested, please contact me. Also any feedback about this would be great. Thanks!

hey trevor...

not everything has to come out of your pocket. often times local dj's and people that have the equipment will do it for free, if the heart is there.

there are ALWAYS people that will help just for the sake of being involved. in fact there are always people on the boards asking "how can i be invovled?"

also give yourself plenty of time to do this. a party takes hella long to put together if you want to do it right.

Oh, and it will be a long time until this event. Most likely the middle to the end of the summer.

I just thought I would throw out the idea. It would mean a lot to the scene if anybody could help out with this.

that's a pretty cool idea. having a pdx and sea party. you'd have to advertise it that way though. don't say there's going to be a Centralia party. mention Seattle, mention PDX so atleast you've got the attention of both cities. good luck t-dodge

Any idea what month it will happen in? I need to know in advance so I can make sure I get the days off of work. I have some speakers I could bring or whatever. My dad has a honda generator but I dunno if he'd let me use it *shrug*
