DJ D: Anyone know her?

I have this marvelous demo tape from a girl named Denise (DJ D) from San Francisco. Has anyone else ever heard one of her sets? She's fucking amazing. My friend KB is trying to get her to spin in PDX or Seattle sometime soon, but I don't know the status of that. He's leaving me soon, so Sarah and I will be the only ravers left in Ashland. images/smilies/frown.gif

Jon from Amplified Events brought Denise up to Vancouver (BC) for "Hooked Up" in March. The crowd at the party loved her...big sounds from a small girl.

I have seen DJ D in SF, she is pretty good, I heard 805 productions have been trying to bring her up so stay tuned for flyers, also if you like high nrg morgan, who is also from SF, is spinning at purity. His CD is really good.

Funny you should mention Morgan. I have a CD of his called Decepticon. It's very high nrg. I dig it. DJ D dent it to me with her demo. I sure hope she hits PDX or Seattle soon. I saw Morgan on the Purity lineup, but we're going to Aurora 2000 on the 16th...

DJ D started Dj-ing probably about 2 years ago. She was the little prodigy child of Thomas Troubles, who while attending UC berkeley, had the chance to try spinning. In 4 hours of practice, she could beat match every record, and had a little style that she's perfected. She is an awesome DJ, and I believe she is getting alot more out-of-town exposure due to the fact she fell upon the SF scene like a bombshell... no waiting around closet spinning for her.
