Firstly, here is my original message, before it got locked in the other thread:
"To all moderators and administrators,
I propose to disregard the "duplicate topic" rule for the threads that are on the subject of today's tragic events. I think we can cope with additional and numerous threads on this topic. This is not a topic to be repressed and limited to just one thread. I think this is definitely an exception to the rule. There are a lot of different topics that involve these same events that have occured. Keeping them in one or two or even three threads will likely turn conversations into chaos.
So I beg of you moderators to please allow different threads to pop up as they will likely cater to specific topics, such as politics, religion, remorse, ethics, finance, psychological and other topics relating to and surrounding today's destructive events."
Yet that post was locked, as one moderator I guess justified by saying it was a "jacob vs everyone" post even though it clearly was not.
I'm not sure why that thread was locked. It was not a multiple thread on a specific topic. That thread was on the topic of moderator ethics, nwtekno rules and regulations (when and when not to lock threads depending on extreme circumstances) and how it related to the September 11th events of destruction. It was clearly a unique thread. It was about "to lock ...or not to lock ...in extreme circumstances."
I said I would protest if it were to be locked, and it was locked. I will now protest with continued threads regarding the same subject.
I will continue to post new threads and will post newer ones if the previous ones are locked. I am persistant and will not give up unless convinced otherwise through intellectual thorough counter arguments on why extreme circumstances cannot have multiple threads and why my thread, which was not a multiple thread, had to be locked.
I also now question certain moderators and how they use their power. I strongly disagree with locking my previous thread as I have shown that it was not a multiple thread. I will continue to repost my original thread until something is resolved from this. I will not stand back and allow moderators to make the decision that my previous thread should be locked. By making my point clear, I will continue to revive my original thread in new threads until moderators get the message and allow my thread to exist, unless proven in some detail that it should not.
This is now a protest against what I see to be current misuse of nwtekno rules and regulations. Not only am I protesting against locking multiple 9-11-01 catastrophy threads, but am protesting against locking my other thread, which as I have stated was not a multiple thread. I strongly encourage moderators to discuss the "rules and regulations" of nwtekno that have been brought up in this thread and the locked thread and at least try to consider, if not listen to my protest.
