I am starting a ifo pamphlet on e and other drugs and I'm having a hard time trying to decide what I should include.

I was wandering if any of you have any questions about the effects or anything that you would want answer. I know this will give me a better idea about what poeple want to know.

you might try using some of the drug FAQ's
on hyperreal, erowid, or lycaeum for tips..
although i think if you use their information
you should say so on the flyer..

http://www.hyperreal.org/drugs
http://www.erowid.org
http://www.lycaeum.org

just click on the drug of your choice
(so to speak :P) and then "frequently
asked questions" or "faq" (depending
on the site)

Well, a good starting point would be to make a section about each drug, with descriptive (but not *too* technical) explanations of how the drug affects you, chemically and mentally, and what the side effects are.

Then list common variants and blends of the drug, and what chemicals it is definitely *not* mixable with, including common medicines and prescription drugs. Then list what dosages it can be taken in with (relative) safety, and then any background info, common prices, and extraneous info.

At the back you should list a lot of quotable and reliable sources, with as many being printed material as possible (it's much more difficult to rid the world of every copy of a book than it is to shut down a web site).
As one final note, you need to make sure all the information is as reliable and true as possible. If you read something on a web site, email the author, find out what sources they have, be it independent lab research, FDA test results, other govnerment studies, etc. Do *NOT* include rumors, personal observations, overly-subjective and one-case stories, or so-called "news" reports. These things are all fallible, unverifiable, and often subject to extreme bias, especially in the news.

I say this not because I think you'll print lies, but because in order to get your material circulated and actually read and used in the manner you intended, it *has* to be reliable.

one other thing you could do is form
a branch of dancesafe in alberta... they
let you use all their material, all you'd
have to do is make it clear that it came
from them... they are a group in san
francisco that does booths at events to
pass out information about drugs, does
e testing at parties, and holds seminars
about how to be safer with drugs...

ya definataly some stuff on GHB and ketamine. I have used both probably more then i should have but it has given me knowladge about exactly what happens, i have put together my own knowladge of how they affect me as well as lab reports i have read. and there are ALOT of stupid rumors i hear about stuff. especially ketamine out here in seattle. i havn't even seen or found hehe any GHB out here. which in my opinion is good. GHB in my opinion should be used at your house with someone who knows how to take care of you when ya pass out cause 8 outta 10 times you will. peace all and dance safe. hey kim you need any help with the booth stuff your running? even if its just walking around passing out fliers or whatever?

I definately agree that you should do GHB at home with a knowledgable person but I disagree that "8 outta 10 times" you will pass out. (granted I've only tried GHB one time). But if you know exactly what dose you are taking there should be no risk of passing out. The person who gave me GHB was a chemistry student and was very careful in measuring out the doses. You just have to responsible about it.
