Today I saw Superflat, an exhibition of Japanese Pop Art organized by Takashi Murakami, at the Henry Art Gallery in the U Dist. The whole time I was there, I couldn't help but think how you would all be fascinated by many aspects of it. Some of the works are quite shocking because of subject matter or unusual uses of media. How many of you guys have seen or plan on seeing Superflat? Some people may argue that Pop Art is not quite art, especially pieces untouched by the hands of the artist. What are your thoughts on the theme of the exhibit or the particular works inside?
The exhibition lasts until March 3rd and it's at 15th AV NE. If you have a valid high school or college ID, admission is free.

Y'all are losers if you don't go and see this.
Some of the shit they had there was just insane. I personally liked the kamakazie picture-plane.
The art by the confessed pedophile was disturbingly fascinating. I'll never look at a teddy bear the same way again.
So go out and get yerself culturized!
