Any help is appreciated, non eBay donations gladly accepted...

Here's a pasting of the description:

This may be unconventional, but it's the best way I can think of to involve a great community in the future of artistic expression.

I am an art and industrial design student at Western Washington University and I am in the stages of creating an installation artwork for display in March of 2002 at the VU507 Gallery in Washington. Like most students I'm short on money which is why I've turned to you to help me out.

The installation will involve a 35" x 3" x 1" box filled with plastic balls on the far wall of the gallery, along each of the other walls will be shelves designed to hold the balls. Each ball will be sequentially numbered by hand and include a word. The goal is to have the viewers of the project put the balls in order to create a story.

I am going to need roughly $2500 to complete this project. If you have any questions, comments, ideas, suggestions, etc please email me. I've set up this auction so people can donate in $5 chunks, please purchase as many as you want. If you notice the total is for $2625, this takes into account eBay's fee. Each patron will have their name featured prominently in the exhibit. After the project is complete, each patron has the option of recieving a signed ball as well as video and still pictures of the installation. Furthermore, each step of the project will be documented on the web, each patron will get a link to their website (or another website if they please), this could be especially useful for corporate patrons. Thank you!

This is posted in Buy/Sell/Trade as well.
