This event will be located at the Evergreen State College, in Olympia. We have the privelege of using a beautiful authentic NW coast Native American longhouse.

Directions: From I-5 North or South take exit 104 (highway 101 N). Drive on 101 North until you reach the Evergreen State College exit. Stay to the left after you leave the highway. Drive for 3-5 minutes. You will see a wooden sign that says "Welcome to the Evergreen State College". Take a left at the sign that says Main Entrance. Drive past the parking booth and take a left into the parking lot. Follow the signs from the parking lot.

the pa systems evergreen has are seriously lacking in quality, size and bass...so please tell me you are getting sound from elsewhere....please! and as a greener on academic leave this quarter ( i am joining the coast guard reserves and gotta do eight weeks of boot camp) i will be there to support you guys, and my school...
but please advertise for this away from the board, and please use good sound...there have been a few shindigs at evergreen that were lacking in good sounds....
i'll be there with my girl and whoever else wants to go...

Rest assured that we have gotten both sound systems from our wonderfully generous friends (I don't know all the detail on the systems, but Sonny does). So don't worry, it will definatly be too loud!! (don't forget your earplugs ;) )

Sounds like a great place to have an excellent FREE party. I've never been to an Evergreen party in the longhouse. Is this the first? I've been to a couple of parties in the main Library area, but that space is a little disjointed... but the sound will be tight in the Longhouse!

I should be fully recovered from Return 2 Laygoland by next weekend ;-).. see you all there!

Flyers are OUT!! After a lot of time spent cutting each flyer individually they are done. Look for them in F-8, Platinum, and the new Compound Records on Olive (which looks pretty good... more clothes than records though). We had to make them black and white because we where paying for them out of our pockets and "Kinkos charges up the ass" for color copies. But anyways, they still look good thanks to Dan (djL). Look for them floating around Evergreen too. Also be sure to TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW!!!!!!!! cause this is going to put Oly on the map.

Thanks for the advice Kim! If we had had more time we definatly would have gone somewhere else to get the flyers done, but our time in Seattle was limited last weekend and its hard to beat the whole open 24 hours thing. As for DanceSafe, of course we want them at our party!! I will fill out a form right awayand hopefully they can handle a little last minute action. I am in the middle of finals week so things are hectic, but I can't wait for this weekend!!

I've been telling my customers who come by the parking booth, classmates, and Oly friends about the blessed event, and most seem incredibly disinterested which seems strange to me considering that their only other alternatives for entertainment in Olympia are:
A) sitting around in the dorms listening to Simon and Garfunkel and drinking Oly whilst complaining about the WTO
B) sitting around in the dorms listening to Bob Marley and drinking Oly whilst smoking weed
C) going to the Reef then going to the dorms at closing time to do all of the above
